When Pakistan can train Kashmiri terrorist and Taliban and gives shelter to Osama Bin Laden and his Terrorist gang in Pakistan to deliver recorded messages and send terrorist around the world to terrorize civilized world, and when China in actively engaged in Balochistan, supporting Pakistani military criminals against Baloch freedom fighters, why can't India and USA do the same to support Balochs in their struggle for freedom. If Iran can support Hezbollah and Hamas in Lebanon, why can’t Israel support the Baloch in Iran and Pakistan to destabilize these two terrorists Islamic extremist country? When will they learn and realize the facts and act??? A Baloch freedom fighter! "N.S.Rajaram" <nsrajaram (AT) airtelbroadband (DOT) in> wrote: http://intellibriefs.blogspot.com/2006/09/baluchistan-india-should-look-beyond.html I released the following statement at the request of some Baluchi groups in the U.S. concerned about India's lack of support for their cause. It is being carried by other groups in the defense and geopolitical and energy circles. Its target audience was U.S. based groups, but it might be of interest to some on this list also. Press statement: September 2, 2006 India's response to the Pakistan Army's killing of the Baluchi tribal leader Akbar Khan Bugti is deeply disappointing. Instead of a routine condemnation issued through a Ministry of External Affairs spokesman, India as the major regional power, should have expressed support at the highest level for the Baluchi people's struggle for freedom from military occupation. India's low level response indicates profound ignorance of history and India's geo-strategic interests at the highest levels of the UPA Government, particularly on the part of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and the UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi. To those familiar with the history leading up to India's disastrous border war with China, this bears a disconcerting similarity to Nehru's betrayal of Tibet to China in 1950 in pursuit of personal glory in Korea. It is all the more disturbing that China seems be actively engaged in Baluchistan, while India is staying aloof despite long standing historical, cultural and maritime interests. Baluchistan is different from Kashmir. Unlike Kashmir, which acceded to India and invited the Indian Army only after it was invaded by Pakistani irregulars and the army, Baluchistan, dominated by the Khanate of Khalat wanted to remain as independent country. If Indian leaders at the time if had the necessary vision and foresight, Baluchistan could have been made into a strategic ally like Bhutan. Instead, India sat idly by while Pakistan occupied Baluchistan by force and garrisoned the country. The present conflict is only the latest phase in the sixty year long freedom struggle that the Baluchis have been waging against the Pakistani Army. The situation is eerily similar to that witnessed 35 years ago when Bangladesh broke away from Pakistan, but the insular UPA leadership seems to be blissfully unaware. The Indian government is treating it as an internal affair of Pakistan. This suggests that Indian and Baluchi groups and individuals outside the government should establish close contact so that a foundation of mutual trust and goodwill are established on which a healthy relationship can be built when Baluchistan frees itself from the Pakistani yoke. This seems to be only a matter of time. Baloch people deserve Bharatiya Support The martyrdom of Akbar Khan Bugti should reinforce the responsibility of the people of Hindustan to support the Baloch people in this hour of need and in support for their freedom struggle, freedom from an oppressive regime. Hindustan has been the beacon of hope for all freedom-fighters and the role played by Baloch in achieving freedom from the colonial rule should be hailed by all people of the region who are opposed to the hegemonical interventions. The colonial regime forced Balochistan into what was then in 1947 called Pakistan while the demand of the Baloch people was for independence. Hindu people everywhere have to support Baloch people in their 60-year old freedom struggle against the Pakistani army and the earlier centuries-old freedom struggle against a colonial regime. Hopefully, measures should be put in place to facilitate cultural exchanges among the people of Balochistan and Hindustan recognizing the millennial civilizational bonds of contacts and maritime relationships. There are compelling reasons why India should extend "moral and diplomatic support" to the movement for an independent Baluchistan. Apart from whittling down Pakistan's nuclear, naval and economic assets - reasons that should be compelling enough - the tribal insurrection in Baluchistan marks a significant defiance of Wahabi Islam, the ideological fountainhead of global terrorism. The champions of the ummah have attempted to negate ethnicity - they have been quite successful in Bangladesh - and Baluchistan offers an opportunity to force political Islam to follow a more conventional paradigm. The opportunity should not be missed, not least because a "friendly" Baluchistan will serve to restore India's land link to Afghanistan and Iran. Ideally, the role of India in the Baluchistan struggle should have been akin to its role vis-à-vis the Northern Alliance which played such a crucial role in removing the Taliban from Afghanistan. Unfortunately, a series of political mis- judgments have led to New Delhi reposing inordinate faith in the territorial integrity of Pakistan. The NDA Government, for example, overruled military and intelligence advice and turned away from Baluchistan on the narrowest of commercial considerations. It is reassuring that the strategic community has taken the first tentative steps to rectify the errors. As an autonomous area over which the writ of British India did not run, Baluchistan was a fit candidate for independence in 1947. It didn't happen that way. But that's no reason to shy away from this unaccomplished agenda of Partition. To Divide Pakistan Bharatiya people need to kick out the Congress Party To divide Pakistan into several independent states is a great idea but this can only happen if we have a pro Indian party and not a party like Congress who amongst themselves use secularism as their tool and weapon to have an agenda to make Hindus a minority by the year 2060. Creating propaganda in the world media that the minorities mainly Muslims in India are heavily persecuted in spite of them living a similar life like every ordinary citizen of India. We Hindus need to awake from the fact that we are now slowly being swamped into a corner without us realizing the far reaching effects of elimination or forcible conversion of Hindus in the future very similar to the mogul rule in India. The time has come for every Indian Hindu to bring out these subjects on every forum possible and quote statistics of the diminishing population of Hindus in countries like Bangladesh and Pakistan. The time has come to expose the illegal entry of Bangladeshi's into our country and demand for stringent measures to be taken against this act. The time has come for every terrorist caught in India to openly hang in public....Only then can our message get through the world that the Indian Hindu will take no nonsense. Why wouldn't a Muslim salute his Bharat land? http://indiaprasthu tha.blogspot. com/2006/ 09/why-wouldnt- muslim-salute-his-land. html By C R Anand Why wouldn't a Muslim salute his land? Every one, not just a Muslim, knows that a piece of land is not to be equated with Godhood. But nevertheless, a healthy respect to the environment that a country like India creates can be and should be expressed by all who live in the country. Why wouldn't a Muslim sing Vande Mataram? Muslims have been very clear about their stand, not just in the Vande Mataram issue. They will not respect an other religion nor will they respect a country (environment) that has given birth to another religion, nor will they even sing in a language (Sanskrit), which they think is representative of another culture, not Islamic. How come all Muslims are united in allowing a fanatic Imam to be their representative? Why won't they come out and say that the Imam is not talking what the Muslims think, if they like to sing the song? That's because a Muslim's core religious works such as the Quran and the Shariat are intolerant to other religions. Not just a few misguided Muslims, but the root of Islam is intolerant. Has it ever occurred to us Indians that for centuries we have not been able to really make friends with Muslims? Nobody in the world has ever been able to do so and live amicably with them. Why at all? A few days after sending a good fat bus to Lahore, hoping to make friends, we get terrorist attacks in return. That's the extent to which Islam is fanatic - at its roots. You cannot offer peace to a rowdy who has 'decided' to play dirty. And this rowdy religion has rowdyism embedded into its holy works. No two thoughts about it. Islam is clearly a rowdy religion and it has proven to be so for that many centuries, with deeply fanatic roots. The so-called world peace, lets face it, is unfortuantely an impossible dream without getting really violent with Islam. And violence is the only language it comprehends. M K Gandhi's concept of ahimsa is a misfit when treating the world- ill of Islam. Why? To start with, no one solution is a cure-all panacea. Nor is ahimsa. Ahimsa is a principle that can be applied to straying individuals or religions who have the innate core to get back on track and be reasonable and just. From when has a religion that has sponsored terrorism for centuries been reasonable and just? No way! Let’s face it. We have to get back at Islam the way it will understand. And we cannot be complacent and non-violent. ====================== Get on board. You're invited to try the new Mail.
