Guest guest
Dear all, I came across the following chart which belongs to the daughter of a friend of mine. I havent met the daughter yet, and did not expect anything like this when I cast the chart. 21st June 1979, 21:10 at London. 1 hour daylight saving time. Asc around 6 degrees sagittarius. The daughter has a dharma karmadhipadhi yoga in the 7th house of gemini with vargottama mercury conjunct sun. There is also a strong lagnadhi yoga with exalted moon and strong venus in the 6th in taurus, and exalted jupiter in the 8th in cancer. All the benefics are very strong. In addition, the rulers of the 6th, 8th and 12th are in the 6th, 8th and 12th houses, though they are all strong - except for mars. Also there is a strong solar yoga with the sun being surrounded by strong benefics on both sides. All the benefics are very strong in the chart. I checked the navamsa and there does not appear to be a major contradiction to the above principles. From her mother, I learnt the daughter has (by choice) taken on quite a hard life. Her mother is a woman of principle and is very attached to her daughter. Neither are doing terribly well materially. But the mother is always fighting other peoples battles and rescuing people. And she says her daughter is a very good person. I would expect the daughter to have done extremely well in life. Perhaps think this may start in her mid thirties when the maha dasa of jupiter starts. But I am still very surprised at her current situation given her chart, especially as her husband cannot read, and has been in trouble with the law. Her mother told me that when her daughter was about 3 she had memories of a previous birth - the memories were unlike those that a 3 yr old would know about and were distressing for the child. Any observations you have about this chart would be of great interest to me. With best regards, Nimmi Ragavan
Guest guest
Dear Nimmi Raghavan ji, From the data that you have furnished I am getting Saggi. Lagna around 20 deg 16 mins. whereas you have mentioned lagna around 6 degrees. But the curious points that you have mentioned need to be clarified first. It cannot be called a Lagnadhi Yoga as Mars is placed in the 6th house, Sun in the 7th house. From the chart that I have before me I can deduce the following things: i. marital life of her parents was disturbing. ii. they could be three siblings in all. iii. she has the ability to pick up languages other than her mother tongue. iv. ever since her birth, especially after 1981, the health of her father could be a cause of worry. v. her mother could have been warned about a difficult pregnancy at the time of her birth which could have later been a normal delivery. vi. she is a spiritually inclined girl. vii. she could have been hospitalised during dasha of Moon for water related diseases. viii. she is quite an intutitive girl. ix. she could have married early in life. x. is she now following a different religion than was her family religion. regards, Manoj nimmiragavan <NimmiRagavan (AT) hotmail (DOT) com> wrote: Dear all, I came across the following chart which belongs to the daughter of a friend of mine. Guest guest
Om Shri Gurave Namah: Dear Member, You know that Lagna lord Jupiter is positd in 8th and Moon is also posited in 6th,and weak in Paksha bala, Sun is posited in 7th with 7th lord Mercury. Sun is also weak in directional strength. It is the dictom of astrology that whose Lagna lord, lagna is aspected by Rahu,is afflicted, Moon is weak in paksha bala Sun are afflicted, all her yoga will not be able to give its results. Yoga of Mercury and Sun is not effective. She is running the dasha of Rahu/ Mercury. Rahu is posited in 9th with Saturn. The Aquarius, mooltrikon sign of Saturn is occupied by Ketu.So SAturn represents Ketu.Dasha of Rahu and Ketu gives malefic results. Mercury id badhak and Maraka for the lagna. How can you aspect good results? Please send feed back. --- nimmiragavan <NimmiRagavan (AT) hotmail (DOT) com> wrote: > Dear all, > > I came across the following chart which belongs to > the daughter of a > friend of mine. Guest guest
dear nimmi, the very first impression you get about the chart is that the person has a good back ground but is going to be a failure in life. In other words, it is a very weak jataka. 1. The health and mental set up of the person are going to be weak. 1a. The girl is quite bad in taking decisions and may be often taking them impusively. 2 Sun in 7th will lead to divisive nature of the marriage life. The couple may not seperate but they are poles apart. But usually, the spouse will be from an influential family, which is not indicated by your mail. 3. Lagna lord is in exaltation but is suffering from PKY. 4. Moon is afflicted by Mars 5. there is KSY alienating the ascendant, which will make the native very lonely and can not utilise her/background, opportunities to develop her self. 6.The chart is suffering from dwirdwadasa yoga.7. However, it is very astonishing that she underwent some pscyic/spiritual experiences, which is very rare since her 12th house is weak. 7.The husband must be very elderkly to her Kindly confirm these so that I can write more. Guest guest
Dear Nimmi, This is a classic case of exalted planets giving not very good effects. Astrologers tend to assume that only presence of exalted planets or own house planets, irrespective of Bhava owned and bhava occupied give rise to raj yoga. You note that two exalted planets Moon and Jupiter in trika sthana. The Dharmakarmaadhipati yoga is not very strong as it should occur in either the 9th or the 10th bhava or connected to the said bhavas for giving the results promised. The Lagnaadhi yoga is mishra yoga and not shubha adhi yoga. This is a good chart that illustrates why I opine that it is more necessary to understand the interplay of Bhava and Bhavesha instead of memorizing umpteen yogas, almost parrotlike. You have also to note that two out of three lords of the Dharma trikona happen to be Moon and Jupiter who land in trika sthana. I would think your friend's daughter may have some health problems too as the lagna lord is in Papakartari yoga. Guest guest
1.She is very healthy and strong minded. She is the breadwinner of the house despite having two children. Her mother helps to care for them so she can work and support the family. And no, she did not have a prosperous background. 1a. Her mother said, and I think I agree, she is taking decisions to make up for errors in a previous life. And has embarked on a life that is not exactly easy but makes up for what she sees as her previous failings. 2. The couple are poles apart. I think I see her as a protector of her husband. 3.PKY - the sun is krura but hardly papa when her rules the 9th? Especially when participating in a strong yoga. Note that mercury is vargottama. 4.Chandra Mangala Yoga requires the moon to be afflicted by mars. See Bill Gates where Moon and Mars are opposite. (Bill's Mercury Mars combination gives that cutting edge logic). 5.KSY - I am open on this. I cannot comment as I dont have enough experience of this. 6. I dont know dwirdwadasa yoga. I feel the memories are due to lagnadhipadhi Jupiter in the 8th house. This may lead to an attempt to fulfill karmas left incomplete possibly? I dont know enough but I always felt the 8th was a karmic house. 7.Husband is same age and was a classmate. Guest guest
Dear Chandrashekar ji, I accept that I have seen exalted planets not give great material results. But I find that exalted benefics seem to give great contentment. Whereas raja yogas give material achievement. I have seen dharmakarmadhipadhi yoga give good results in the 5th, so I must disagree somewhat with your point about it being in the 7th house. At present, she has no health issues. The only problem in her life is her husband who she basically "rescued". But I think here she is dealing with karmic issues, especially as she is running rahu dasa. Guest guest
Dear nimmi, Oh my god, I am cornered. It never happened that my readings go wrong on major things. In fact, most of the time, the facts can be explained by my readings. I think it is Good to see such thought provoking charts. Yesterday, I was working on this chart and I did come up with some readings. But I have to check and recheck my readings in the light of your mail. regards, Kishore patnaik On 9/5/06, nimmiragavan <NimmiRagavan (AT) hotmail (DOT) com> wrote: > > > > 1.She is very healthy and strong minded. Guest guest
Dear Nimmi I think there are two problemswith this chart is that though the moon and Jupiter are exalted and Venus in it's own sign all these laudable placements occur in bad houses. To me this suggests pleasent enough energies but obstacles to overcome. The other problem is the close connjunction of Rahu and Saturn in the 9th house of fortune. 9th house is often considered just another house but in some astrological schools it is considered of the utmost importance because without fortune favoring us life will be very hard. Nicholas - nimmiragavan Wednesday, September 06, 2006 4:16 AM Re: A very special chart 1.She is very healthy and strong minded. Guest guest
Dear Kishore 6.The chart is suffering from dwirdwadasa yoga.7. However, it is very astonishing that she underwent some pscyic/spiritual experiences, which is very rare since her 12th house is weak. Moon is with 12th house as 8th Lord ? Guest guest
Om Gurave Namah Namaste Nimmi ji, A hurried glance at the chart suggested the following: 1) since lagna lord is exalted it gives high principles, good health and his placement in 8th shows loss of bhagya (8th is 12th from 9th) and adverse circumstances. 2) I see that all planets, except ascendant hemmed between malefics. Hence health is good, but other things are adverse. 3) But as moon is strong, and with Venus & Mars, her compassion and temper would both be strong. This could be the trouble. as this occurs in the natural 2nd house and coupled with the fact that Mercury is her AK, her troubles might be linked to her expression/talk. 4) Sanjay ji says that Rahu (malefics) in the 9th are bad for bhagya, and i see no benefics aspecting either the lagna or 9th house or the 5th house, but all of them are (except mercury)aspect 12th house!! Please correct me. Regards, Lakshmi , "nimmiragavan" <NimmiRagavan wrote: > > Dear all, > > I came across the following chart which belongs to the daughter of a > friend of mine. Guest guest
Most of the planets are placed in 2/12 positions from each other. While this may be taken as malika yoga or whatever, it is not a really good combination. On the other hand, 2L in 9th house will see 12h to be weak and hence, less of spirituality ensues. Guest guest
I agree with you. Exalted benefics never go waste. But see: 1) Out of two exalted benefics, one is 8th lord and the other is lagna lord. 8th lord can never be expected to bring prosperity unless involved in a fruitful VRY. Even lagna lord shouldn't be expected to do much good materially. It will just give good health, and being divine planet Jupiter, a very benefic, sympathetic and compassionate nature. You can have complaints only if it is not like that. 2) Then there are other divisional charts too, to be taken care of. 3) To add to this, dasas too should be appropriate to bring out the desired results. In the instant case, a VRY is possible in Moon / Venus dasas. But, interpreting a VRY is never an easy task. Now about the Dharma-Karmadhipati yoga. You are very correct that it should give results in the 7th too. But see: 1) Strength of the Sun and Mer. 2) Distance between the two planets is too wide. 3) How current dasa is related to this yoga ? Now consider what remains. Then there are many subtleties too which can never be overlooked and change your destiny significantly. Even keeping this discussion apart, see the age of the girl. Still possibilities of life are there. I don't think there is anything remarkable in the horoscope which should guarantee the girl doing 'extremely well' in life. I consider her TOB (if given TOB is almost correct) around 21:05. Guest guest
Dear Nimmi, I am only telling the definition of Dharmakarmaadhipati yoga as given by "Sushloka Shataka". When the lord of the 9th and 10th occupy the 5th this would no doubt be a raj yoga as a square and trine lord join another trine, but would it qualify as Dharmakarmaadhipati yoga is something that needs to be pondered over. Same with 9th and 10th lord in the 7th. Also note that Sun the 9th lord is Mandipati/Gulikadhipati. However you are certainly entitled to your own opinion in the matter. She is fortunate that Jupiter Dasha is yet to begin to give her health problems.
