Hi

 

I have been trying to get Gayathri Thrisadi and would be appreciate

knowing whether any one has the text in sanskrit or english or any of

southern languages and would be thankful if it is uploaded.

Prashant,

Thanks for the correction. If you search in google you need to

give both the spellings as you can find results in both. Anyway I am also

particular on the pronounciation when it comes to chanting. By the way I

tried google search but I can get all other trishati except for Gayathri. I

was given to understand that this is very rare and only few mandir's have it

esp the Gayathri temple in Guntur and another near Hydrabad. I am trying to

get the details through my contacts but no success until now. Any help in

this regard is much appreciated.

Dear Prashant & Sriganesh

 

Thanks a lot that would be great. I am fine with any version in the

following Sanskrit, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada or English..

Basically, one temple is halfway in the Guntur Tenali route. The place if I

remember is Narakoduru (I hope I pronounced the name right). The second one

near hyderabad is about 60 km from there ( I heard from it is about 10

minutes from Chilkur Venkateshwara temple). I was trying to contact my good

old friends but had lost in touch with them for nearly 20 years and

was trying to check through my students from AP on this and got the

information on the location of temples.

 

Dear Sriganesh, Thanks for the mail. Yes trisati is more potent than other

archanas and I have most of the trisati's (most common ones) except for

Gayathri and had been trying to find it out for nearly 11 years and finally

located these places after trying out Gayathri matt and few other books

including the one by Bharathwaj Swamigal. Luckily I landed in this group

while I was searching some document from my list. Thanks for

offerring to share it and If I get it in the mean time will send you the

version.
