Guest guest
Anand, the info you read 4 years ago is not correct. Beware and be Aware about books and articles that can mislead people. Those are written by folks without traditional training and exposure to rudraksh and hence they write rubbish for the sake of getting published or having name and fame. There are zillions of people around the world who wear strings and malas of rudraksh in different mukhs on single malas with great success. Since rudraksh came into existence by Grace of Lord Shiva, for over 5000 years, malas with different mukhs have been worn. Gurus, swamis, yogi, yoginis, etc, etc. all wear malas with different mukh beads. Of course they also have japa malas that consists mostly 5 mukh.
