Dear

v I had posted some charts with analysis which wrote as MP yoga

as seen from Moon ALSO, objection was made by humble & modest

Chandrashekarji that CLASSICS do not state it

v I was at loss to reply since I have only learnt astrology from

astrologers and not books & couldn't quote shloka

v Bharat a seeker wrote back stating that Chapter 6 Shloka 4 of

Phaladeepika & even Jatakalankara translated both by Shri Gopesh Kumar

Ojha has written clearly that MPY needs to be seen from Lagna OR Moon

v It was rejected by SHRI Chandrashekarji stating that the

translation was WRONG reasoning below

Dear Bharat,

The Sanskrit shlokas appear in Gopeshkumarji's translation also. I think

Gopeshkumar, whom I respect much, perhaps misinterpreted the shloka. The

shloka says "Lagnedorapi" (1st word shloka 4 Chapter 6)meaning the

Grahas should be in Kendra from Lagna and also should be in Kendra from

Chandra. Had it been "Lagnedu vaa" or even "Lagnendu vaapi" it would

indicate that the grahas should be in Kendra from lagna or/and Moon.

"Lagnedorapi" appearing, is in context with earlier shloka 3 and would

mean that when a Graha occupies Kendra in own or exaltation rasi,

Chandra should also occupy another Kendra. This would bring the graha in

Kendra to both Lagna and Chandra. This is in line with basic principles

of astrology as Chandra would get strength from occupying a Kendra.
