OM NAMAH SIVAYA

thanks for posting The Guru Gita Stacee. what great verses. these

to me really state the importance of a True Guru like Amma. vs.16

basically says that The Guru is greater than any place of

pilgrimage, as the Guru is Siva Himself. what is The Guru but the

reflection of all Divinity? the complete example. this scripture

is so multi-leveled. i liked the phrase, "lighting the lamp of

knowledge and helps one cross the ocean of transmigration." and it

made me think about what that knowledge really is. Siva says we

should eat the left over food of the Guru or drink the water from

Her feet. just simply by the water touching The Guru it becomes

Divine, more Divine that the most sacred rivers. it seems that

while on the one hand Siva may be actually speaking of the Guru's

food and the water of the Guru's feet, it also seems the water may

be symbolic of The Guru's wisdom. or maybe the water is symbolic of

all of us after all we not only touch The Guru we even get Her hugs!
