Guest guest
Hi there. First of all, when you mentioned that I am engrossed in Samasara, I did not even know what Samsara meant :-) So, I was not bothered at all. :-) I admire people like you who chose to give up material things and yet live life to the fullest. Living in London, wherein standard of living is very high and there are a lot of crimes because of money, I think it is maternal instict to just try to secure your kids future in all aspects. Aside from striving for financial security, I am also a stay at home mom who cannot imagine letting strangers raise my kids. I work from home and take care of the kids. My husband travels all the time for work, but he is also based at home, and takes care of the kids whenever possible. Now, though we are striving financially, part of my husband's income,we donate to the children's charity. And as time goes by, we plan to increase this. Though it is better to actually help with the orphanage, juggling a job, 2 kids, and doing house chores is almost impossible. Aside from this, I also help my Mom in the Philippines financially as she is too old now to work and it is also a struggle there. In 5 years time, my husband and i agreed to adopt a child and raise him/her just like how we raise our daughters. And for all our plans, needless to say, it all costs money. I know you do not need to have an explanation on my side, but I think it is nice that you know me better. Take care.
