Guest guest
dear friends earlier few querents asked me to explain the signficance of cow worship when i recommend go pooja as a remedy for some problems. here below i give some information from the puranas: all gods, goddesses and all vedas are present in the holy cow. a holy cow carries nectar on the earth. cows are the foremost of all holy objects and no other sacred place surpasses them. they are the holiest of the holy and the most nutritious among the nutritious. therefore, cows should be given as the first gift. all gods would be pleased by offering curd. by offering milk, shiva is pleased. by butter firegod agni is pleased. by drinking cow milk, the dead spirits become holy and the pancha gavya or five cow products (milk, curd, ghee, urine and dung) are the holiest and nothing is superior to them. the marut divinities abide in the teeth of the cow. saraswati abides in the tongue. gandharvas abide in the hoofs. serpent dieties lie in the tips of her hoofs. the sadhyas dwell in all her joints. sun and moon dwell in her two eyes. all stars lie in her hump dharma dwells in her tail. all holy pilgrimage places are in her anus the river jahnavi (ganga) and oceans are in her urine. where there is cow, there dwells lakshmi and also the eternal sankhya law. hence worshipping a cow and offering grass or green vegetables to a cow is best remedy for any problem. with best wishes and blessings pandit arjun
