Raman writes about his meeting a village astrologer away from the town

of Madhugiri(a small town). This village astrologer was capable of

timing events accurately (mid 1930s if not wrong)

 

v Pandit revealed to Raman the method of using Divisional

Ashtakvargas & how to use AV of Ven derived from Navamsa to time

marriage

 

v My mentor & Guru C.S. Patel also revealed this maybe for the

first time in print on Amitabhs Chart (the chart was wrong as war time

was not taken into account)

 

v Raman writes that he found this method simple and fairly

reliable but there is absence of classical authority here.

 

v Now Raman says immediately to us that "But Sometimes in

the absence of authoritative dicta ones experience could be taken as a

criterion."

 

v Village astrologers have secret methods which have no sloka

reference but they swear by it

 

v Then one of my favorite astrologers P.M.Padia (Guru of James

Braha) has a unique way of talking. He will say "Sunil Bhai, these

shlokas in books are confusing & u wont learnt astrology from them, I

learnt from experience & what I say something it WORKS but what is there

in the book can or cannot work". The manner in which he says these

words is most adorable and sweet and he is known to be very accurate,

ofcourse he has a brilliant chart himself for an astrologer.
