Guest guest
||Hare Rama Krsna|| Dear Dheena, Namaskar The nine forms are based on the digchakra. They are as follows: Sun - Surya: Om Suryaaya Namah| Moon - Mitra: Om Mitraaya Namah| Mars - Vivasvan: Om Vivasvate Namah| or: Om Vivasvanam Namah| Mercury - Aaditya: Om Aadityaaya Namah| Jupiter - Vishnu: Om Vishnave Namah| Venus - Ravi: Om Ravaye Namah| Saturn - Varuna: Om Varunaaya Namah| Rahu - Bhaga: Om Bhagaaya Namah| Ketu (worshipped for mukti marga) - Bhaskara: Om Bhaskaraaya Namah| Now, you can choose to add Namah before the name or after: * om namah vishnave (no grammatical correction): praying to become like the Sun God. * om vishnave namah: bowing to the Sun God. The former is best for Jyotishis as we are trying to do the work of Surya. Specifically for Jyotishis we advise the use of Jyotirbeeja (Hraum) instead of Tara beeja (Om). This would make the mantra Hraum Namah Vishnave for those with Jupiterian lagnas. There are more variations of the beejas and mantras of Surya. I.e. for Good health add the Ghrini beeja. Example: Om Ghrini Vishnave Namah| Or for supressing evils and removing headaches we add damana beeja (hum). Example: Om Hum Vishnave Namah|. Make a nice diary of your specific surya mantras with the beejas. This will be useful for future understanding of Mantra shastra and the mantras for your and others health.
