Guest guest
Dear and Respected Visti-Ji, (And dear learned members), What are the quidelines for interpreting D-6, and D-8? (for that matter D-11?). Do we treat these Vargas just as we treat D-1, D-9 etc.? For example, Lagnesh in lagna in D-1 or D-9 is auspicious. What is the case for the same in D-6, D-8. Or which is more auspicious; to have Mars as Lagnesh in lagna or in a dusthaana to cause accidents etc. in D-6, D-8.(Hope this is not complicating the picture since in both the cases of Mars in own in Lagna and lagna being Aries or Scorpio, mars will be ruling a dusthaana?). If I am not mistaken, the teaching is that we treat lagna in all the vargas to be representing the Self (Native) according to Sage Parashara, but maybe in D-6 we should take lagna to be expressing the native from the point of accidents, and maybe this could mean Mars in lagna even if in own sign could be causing accidents? Your guidance is always much appreciated, Sabri.
Guest guest
om namo bhagavate vasudevaya Dear Sabri comments below. post scriptum :These special vargas like D-6 & D-11 are specificically dealt with overcoming enemies so knowledge of these is rarely seen/taught as can be dangerous. Regards Rafal Gendarz - Sabri Tuesday, August 29, 2006 3:45 AM [Om Krishna Guru] D-6 and D-8 Dear and Respected Visti-Ji, (And dear learned members), What are the quidelines for interpreting D-6, and D-8? (for that matter D-11?). Do we treat these Vargas just as we treat D-1, D-9 etc.? [Rafal] Classics: Jaimini Sutra (D-6). D-8 is not used. Yes, we can treat generally like in D-1 but specific techniques are of utmost importance. D-6 can be used for timing diseases and litigations. It also show affliction to Dosha. For example, Lagnesh in lagna in D-1 or D-9 is auspicious. What is the case for the same in D-6, D-8. [Rafal] In D-6 it show strategy of taking strife. This can be seen reading COVA by Sanjay Rath. [rafal] if mars is 2L or 7L the native can suffer, if its in 6H then enemy suffers. malefic in lagna is disaster for enemies while in 2H it gives problem to native. [rafal] Lagna here is for body & health, forth for soul, ninth for growth of evils, second for death and sixth afflicted shows source of evils. eight bhava is longevity and malefic curtails the same. Paryaya dasa is used here.. Your guidance is always much appreciated, Sabri.
