remedies along with rationale for sun from the puranas

dear friends

 

the following remedies are prescribed in the puranas for invoking

the grace of lord sun:

 

1. donate an umbrella

2. donate garmets (dhoti for men and saree for women)

3. donate an earthen pot (any big vessel for storing drinking water)

4. donate soft chappals

 

there is a story in which lord sun descends on the earth and offered

the above to a righteous family. hence it is advised to give them

to a needy poor brahmin and if such brahmin is not found, these

donations can be given to any poor person.

 

it is also written separately in the puranas about the direct

benefits a native receive out of the above donations:

 

1. by donating an unmbrella, one would gain a grand house.

2. by donating garments, one would gain the same to his heart's

content.

3. by donating water and food, the native gets all his desires of

enjoyment fulfilled.

4. by donating chappals (shoes) one would be entitled to have a

chariot (comfortable vehicle)

 

since the above have been recommended in the puranas (i can give

names, chapters and verse numbers) they have no side affects and

anyone can perform these remedies and get benefited.
