I have clearly mentioned that i dont want to let down ur spirits..I had been worshipping Salagram Sila for the past 5 years(though am not a brahmin), previously got initiated from Ramakrishna Mission (when i was 13 years old)....I understand the real motive of Vrats...these r nothing but fulfilling ones desires..think it on other way...once ur desire is fulfilled, another desire comes up..then u do another Vrata(like RaktaBija of Devi Mahatmyam)...this means that u worship God for desires..not for Bhakti(which is hardly focussed).... I dont condemn people for Vrats...however if one performs it, one should do it with a pure heart n soul. Dont tak it otherwise...if u r hurt..please forgive me...I am quoting my message again...
