Guest guest
Dear Ganesh Bhaiya and to all, Wish You too peace, prosperity and His blessings.,on this auspicious day, and to those financially poor bhaktas in Maharashtra who carry the Ganesha processions continously, though materialistic wealth they have not seen, but pride in abundance the love, prema, bhakti and shradha for Lord Ganeshji,in their hearts. Today morning waiting at bus stop for a bus, I saw a procession complete with drummers,10-12 persons, a big Ganeshji about 5 feet size in seated position. I went little away at the thought that they may fire crackers high sounding ones which i dont like, but this group was not into firecrakers, so came near the bus stop again. I noticed that they were all poor people (Normally poor people or people little above the poverty line,or lower middle class do such type of display.pomp and show and into carrying out Ganeshjis in processions, affluent people also are into this but very less percentage.)The zeal they displayed combined with the sound of drums, brought tears to my eyes, and I said to myself look at these people whom we call poor, filthy, unkempt with un-ironed clothes, they have time, money in adversity, energy, inclinations also, to do this while we dont have enough time to even decorate properly Ganeshjis sitting at our own homes in form of silver idols/photos whatever. These people in procession were very slow in movement ,they were moving unhurriedly ahead and all this watching them made tears well up in my eyes., and definitely made me feel small. I salute them and all Ganesh Bhaktas in the world. regards, Bhaskar. , "sriganeshh" <sriganeshh wrote: > > Dear All, > > on this auscipious occasion of ganesha chaturthi, i convey my > greetings and pranams to all the members of this group and wish > sriganesha brings peace and prosperity by his blessings on each and > every one of you and your family members... > > thanks > sriganeshh >
Guest guest
dear Bhaskarji, jus to supplement ur observation, u can recollect a mail i had sent during this month wherein i had said that Lord venkateswara will be pleased to receive the humble donation from an innocent village who would have sacrificed is daily essentials and made a trip to thirupathi by walk or any other modest mode of transport. I jus thought that they are the true devotees as u have observed today. may god reduce the suffering of such people, k.gopu
