Guest guest
Dear Sweta, I understand and share in your concerns; however, although the confidentiality issue does not bother you, it is a concern to many others who have requested prayers, or are posting prayers for others. It is by no means a perfect answer to these concerns, and we can certainly work on creating more workable options, but this will at least allow for greater confidentiality for the time being. This was in no way an attempt to "censor" the list. PLEASE do not infer that it is. I am simply trying to support those people who have geniune concerns about knowing that their prayers are not posted all over the internet. As a group, we can continue to brainstorm and come up with better, more workable options. In Her Love and Service Always, Sanatani Sweta Mitzel <swetabc > wrote: Oops. Guest guest
Is it possible to post it in the files? Is this other group, going as far as to open our files and post them on their list? --- sanatani urban <sanatani (AT) verizon (DOT) net> wrote: > Dear Sweta, > > I understand and share in your concerns; however, > although the confidentiality issue does not bother > you, it is a concern to many others who have > requested prayers, or are posting prayers for > others. Guest guest
this seems like it might work. also anyone who didn't have the list could pray using a statement of intention. something like these mantras are for the benefit of all those on the Ammachi prayer list. after all The Divine Mother already knows who needs what, right? Guest guest
It may be possible to continue to send out the reminder portion of the prayer list and the mantras weekly and to post the updated names in the files section of the group. --- ecjensen_us <ecjensen_us > wrote: > this seems like it might work. also anyone who > didn't have the list > could pray using a statement of intention. > something like these > mantras are for the benefit of all those on the > Ammachi prayer list. > after all The Divine Mother already knows who needs > what, right? > > Ammachi, Stacee Kramer > <stacee.kramer > wrote: > > > > Is it possible to post it in the > files? Guest guest
Audarya fellowship may be a bunch of sleazebags poaching messages from this group without permission and violating 's terms of service, but as long as the prayer list contains only first names and not e-mails, DOBs, or SS numbers, there is virtually no danger of misuse by scammers or identity thieves. Guest guest
Sigh.......... Keval, The point was not regarding misuse by spammers and identity thieves. The point was simply that some people did not feel comfortable having information about their lives posted anywhere but where it was supposed to be... on a prayer list. Please forgive me, but why does everything have to be turned into a much bigger deal than it really is? I am sorry that this has inconvenienced some people. It has inconvenienced me as well, but why shouldn't I be inconvenienced? Isn't our Mother inconvenienced all the time? I've never heard Her complain. I am only trying to find a way for the prayer list to be a little more secure, so that the people who have concerns will feel more at ease in posting a request with the assurance that we are doing the best we can to to honor the need for privacy as best we can in a public forum.
