Dear all,

One effective way to prevent any worms infecting and sending mails through your email is to add three or four bogus email addresses starting with 000 or aaa.

In this way, they will remain ahead os all other addresses in your address book. The virus will try to send and resend to these emails, but will fail.

For example, I have put following addresses in my address book:

1. !00000 (AT) aaaaaabbbbb (DOT) com

2. aaaaaaa (AT) aaaaaaaa (DOT) com

3. aaaaaaaaaaaabcdnowhere (AT) neverending (DOT) com

Because of their alphabetic placement, they remain on top of all other address and prevent other addresses from being misused by the virus.

Regards,

Ashutosh

Dear asutosh

I do this plus also advised many even in the group to check this

at START button use

RUN the cmd in the space

type netstat -n and see if the foreign address nos and th elast col establiesed are safe

any other TIME_WAIT, CLOSE_WAIT, SYC_WAIT ETC are some viruses in ur system and need to be checked by a different anti-virus program to what u have now as they virus is smart to bypass urs. so clear ur time bombs

good luck
