I am in USA and I would like to know this as my father contacted some astrologer who suggested that there has to be Guru balam for one of my relative for the marriage issue. He Date of Birth is on 02 February 1980, Time of Birth is at 06:10 AM in the morning and the place of Birth is Anantapur, Andhrapradesh, India. Her Star is Aslesha and the astrologer said that this star is bad and it will cause ill effects to the mother- in-law to the house she gets into. Apparently you are referring Chart of a female native. Guru Balam is had by selecting auspicious time for marriage .It simply means marriage is solemnized when Jupiter is Transiting in a sign that is 2 nd,..5th, ,7th ,, , 9th . 11th from Natal sign. So if marriage Is to take place Jupiter be in any one of sign called Leo, Scorpio, Cap, Pisc Or Taurus. So Many options are there. Your second question is Ashlesa is bad .Ill effect to mother in law? Well To take birth in certain Nakshtra is inauspicious for girls. Ashlesha vishaka kritika etc are not said to be Good. Yes there are some jyotish consideration. But there are many factors that modify results .Other factors for ill to in-laws should also be present. In the chart under reference I have corrected time a little. Time of Birth taken is 6:6:38 And other factors are not present to support the general theory. A cursory look at D12 and Navamsa examination taking Vigo as tentative lagan for would be husband no harm is deciphered in her chart to in-laws. Marriage is delayed for weakness of Moon as it is in Rasi sandhi ,It is` Atma karka and its Bhukti will operate between march to sept2007.Marrage is likely around Oct 2007.
