Guest guest
Dear Pradeep, I can only re iterate what I said in an earlier mail; doing anything else would merely serve to complicate;- I think it is good to follow the plan of examining knees of those with Sat in Cap and Jup in Sag as I said before, that way you will build up your own understanding of which is accurate instead of just relying on textbooks. best wishes Margaret - vijayadas_pradeep Tuesday, August 15, 2006 3:53 PM Re: saturn/knees - Mole on Thigh Dear Chandrashekhar ji Ms.Margaret and other learned members I have guru in dhanu(lagna) unaspected by other planets.I have a prominent black mole on my left thigh.Dhanu is for thighs as per classics. Guest guest
Dear Vijaydas, I have been curious about the dreshkana and body parts. If the 1st dreshkana rises then body parts are so and so If 2nd then so and so. What happens to the other body parts ( i.e , if the 1st dreshkana rises , the 12 signs do not cover all the body parts. The one assigned for 2nd dreshkana rising are not in 1st dreshkana) We need to cover all of them, so how yopu do it. Guest guest
Dear Ms.Margaret Thanks for your mail and opinion. I can understand your point of practical verification, combined with theory.Or the necessity in understanding, the reason behind theories. Problem for me is only about exchanging or shifting fundamentals based on practical verifications. These verifications may not form a good sample size or most importantly, the result can be based on other contributing factors. For example in my case, mole(a promint spot ,not a growth) is in the thigh ,rather than knee. Phalitha jyotisha principles and variations can be perceived based on self experiences, but whether the same is applicable to fundamentals of a system is debatable. If you ask my personal opinion, fundamentals shall never be altered. We may prove profession can be better seen from 4th house than 10th,but it is against the system is my opinion. Anyway i do not want to disturb your belief and was just expressing my opinion. Thanks and Regards Pradeep , "Margaret George" <margaret.george wrote: > > Dear Pradeep, > > I can only re iterate what I said in an earlier mail; doing anything else would merely serve to complicate;- > > I think it is good to follow the plan of examining knees of those with Sat in Cap and Jup in Sag as I said before, that way you will build up your own understanding of which is accurate instead of just relying on textbooks. > best wishes > Margaret > > > - > vijayadas_pradeep > > Tuesday, August 15, 2006 3:53 PM > Re: saturn/knees - Mole on Thigh > > > Dear Chandrashekhar ji Ms.Margaret and other learned members > > I have guru in dhanu(lagna) unaspected by other planets.I have a > prominent black mole on my left thigh.Dhanu is for thighs as per classics. > Chandrashekhar ji,regarding drekkanas,in Krishneeyam as well, as you > may know, body part assignments are given. As in your case, for dhanu > lagna, if the 1st drekkana is rising, dhanu represents head, and Mithuna > neck. The rashis yet to rise represents right side of head while the > already risen ones, corresponds to left side of head. For example,2nd > house (Makara) represents right eye and left goes to 12th > house(Vrischika). For other ascendants too this is the order. Thus as > you have mentioned,it is the houses that, rather than the rashis > ,decides parts. > If 2nd drekkana is rising, ascendant becomes neck and for 3rd drekkana > risings ,ascendant sign corresponds to genitals. This is understandable > as Dashadhyayi(interpretation of Varahahora) says drekkanas represent > Urdhwa,Madhya,Adho Bhagas of Sthoola shareera(rashi being sthoola > shareera).Similarly 3 drekkanas within a rashi, can also represent > various parts, accounting for full body, used for identifying diseases > connected to limbs. > > Dear Ms.Margaret kindly give the shlokas or Pramanas > supporting,Dhanu-Knee assignment. > > Respect > Pradeep > > , "Margaret George" > <margaret.george@> wrote: > > > > Dear Chandrashekhar, > > > > Do you have first decanate rising? > > And did you know that in Nakshatra Purusha of the Stellar Deity, as > detailed in Brihat Samhita, Chitra constellation signifies forehead? > Does Mars happen to fully aspect Chitra from Gemini in your chart? > > - > > Chandrashekhar > > > > Monday, August 14, 2006 8:01 PM > > Re: saturn/knees > > > > > > Dear Margaret, > > > > I can see your point of view. Guest guest
Dear Satish ji Such assignments are also given(finding full body parts for 1/2/3 risings). For example let us take dhanu 1st drekkana rising. In dhanu drekkan 1 -head drekkan 2 -Neck drekkana3-bladder Right side is assigned to houses - 2 thru 6 while left for 12,11,thru 8. 1st drekkana of 7th represents face(opposite of 1st drekkana in ascendant) In 2nd house(Makara) drekkana 1 - Right eye drekkan 2- Right shoulder drekkana 3 -Rt Penis In 12th house(Vrischika) Left - penis, shoulder and eye corresponds to drekkanas 3/2/1 respectively. Thus i feel when first drekkana is rising,we have to divide body into 3 parts and assign one organ in the order(from head ,neck, bladder regions) taking into account of left/right side. Similarly when 2nd drekkan is rising ,body parts will follow order of neck/bladder/head for the 1/2/3 drekkans within a sign. When 3rd drekkana is rising, the order is bladder/head/neck. In Krishneeyam this full order is given - but i feel there are printing mistakes.Unfortunately the reason is not mentioned and i guessed the reasoning by combining this with dashadhyayi. Also to give some more mappings - for first drekkana rising let us take seventh house drekkan 1 in 7th house - face drekkana 2-Umbilicus drekkana 3 -foot Hope this helps.
