Yes, as long as the children do not attain adulthood and are under the care of the parents, the parents can perform remedial measures in their name and they may reap the benefit. When the children are adults then they themselves should perform the remedies. Of course the child's faith can influence the result. For example if the parents have faith in remedial measures and perform them with faith, but the children have nof aith, then they are obstructed from getting the results.
