Guest guest
dear friends have just relocated to hyderabad and it would take some time for me to settle here and shall continue my active contributions once am settled here. have been accessing mails from a cybercafe off and on and found so many interesting threads and wish to give one advice to all my fraternity. religion and belief in god is a personal subject and one shall not criticise the other. however, with perfect understanding i can declare that astronomy is a science and astrology is not a science. astrology, particularly vedic astrology is inexplicably intertwined with hindu mythology and gods, goddesses, planetary rulership lords etc. are all part and parcel of the vedic astrology and hence astrology can never be a science like astronomy which is purely geographical phyical scientific study of the planets, their systems, transits etc. we may, at best, call astrology a divine science but it cannot work 100% foolproof like a scientific formula as divine intuition and clairvoyance plays an integral role in making a prediction combining hundreds of conflicting and overriding astro principles and yogas and cancellations. while astronomy is a subject in many universities in many countries astrology is still not a subject in universities even in india. so my submission is that this vedic astrology is a subject only for believers of hindu mythology and if one does not believe in this mythology, the whole astrology also becomes a trash, for the foundations of all ancient vedic astrology classics are written by sages and have correlated planets with gods in every chapter of their classics, be it BPHS, bhrigu samhitas or various nadis etc. as for myself, i believe fully the whole hindu mythology as well as astrology. with best wishes pandit arjun

Guest guest
Dear Ranjan ji and Pandit Arjun ji, Welcome back to forum after a short break. I hope and pray that all is well at your end. regards / Prafulla Gang The problem is not that there are problems. The problem is expecting otherwise and thinking that having problems is a problem.
