Namaste Chandrashekhar,

Some jyotishis believe that Ketu is exalted in Sagittarius. This

could account for the mark on your right knee. In my case,

Varamihira's observation was correct in that Sagittarius represents

the thighs, as the scar occurred on my left thigh.

Dear John,

Ketu does get exaltation in Sagittarius and this is used for phalit

whereas his exaltation in Scorpio is generally used for Ayu (longevity).

But that gave me a Mark of a red Trident on my forehead, which was quite

prominent when I was young, especially when I used to loose my temper.

Mars from the 7th aspects both Capricorn rasi and the 10th bhava in the

natal chart and appears to fit in with the scar on my knee.

But as you said, marks and scars can be interpreted in a different manner.

Regards,

Chandrashekhar.
