Guest guest
Dear friends, It has been noticed that some of us may not like/approve the religious remedies connected to religion or particular Hindu segments giving info about the same. Also what should be done when people of other religions come for help .. a) It has also been noticed that ultimately those of us who do not bellieve in the religious remedies suggest other remedies to natives from the same texts at our convenience, and we should be grateful to these texts instead of condemning them, because they form the basis of the ground on which we stand.in field of astrology. We cannot have our own inventions in the form of remedies and ultimately the non-religious remedies too have been picked up from here only, at our convenience. b) The people who do not come under the fold of Hindu religion, can be suggested the other remedies of donations, colour specifics to be used, prayers of their own religion can be suggested, use of herbs and plants (As per Nakshatras) can be suggested, at the same time gratitude towards these texts has to be mantained, from where we get the knowledge of suggesting these remedies. c) Pitra Dosha- shradha rituals etc. have their own meaning whether one believes or not is his prerogative. Example- Though one may not know due his not being Yogi, where his pitras are in Swarga Loka or Pitra loka or Vaikuntha Loka or wherever ) but one thing is sure, the rites performed here by the living members definitely accrues to the ancestors. Suppose for eg. one of the ancestors has got another birth as a horse, and one of his descendants performs the shradha ceremonies ,pinda daan, etc, here properly. Immediately wherever the horse maybe , he will fall dead and the soul would be given a better body ,progressive stage in the sequence the soul was supposed to achieve. Again as I said whether one believes or not is a individual approach. One thing is sure, even a atheist when he gets married if he is born in Hindu family would at time of his marriage go to pandit, sit in front of fire and listen to the mantras and perform all that is duly prescribed , to make his marriage solemnised properly. Talking and doing is different. Like we say kathni and karni are vastly different. I very much support the views mentioned by Prafullaji, where he mentions without any bias to a particular sect, to all coming under a common umbrella knowing all the means, but using them as per the end to be achieved with refernce to the remedies and native part., and here I add, also ackowledging the souces in our heart ,with thanks to the Rishi,Munis and God, who has ultimately handed this knowledge to these Rishi Munis and exalted souls through person/Intuition. Bhaskar.
