Guest guest
Dear Rafal-Ji, Dear Learned Members, Namaste, When studying general health, do we see the positon of Surya from Lagnesha, or Paakesha, (dispositor of Lagnesha as given in Visti-Ji's book). I understand that the above, is an additional criteria to the placement of Sun himself from lagna and his strength (is this correct)? What happens when lagna has two lords, e.g. to find paakesha do we see the dispositor of both the lords? Infinite thanks for your guidance, Respectively, Gilbert. Guest guest
hraum namah adityaya Dear Gilbert, All three has different conotation. Jataka Tattwa says about dispositor of Lagnesh to see general health issues. This can be also seen for other lords like seventh (partner) / forth (mother) etc. Because the dispositor's karaka is Surya and Surya governs health. Surya from Lagna will tell us about GENERAL fortune / attitude towards health issues. If its in dusthana then this harmony is afflicted and one can be careless in cases of health issues. So Bhavas from Surya to Lagna shows our attitude while bhavas from Lagna to Surya will tell the fortune. Now the Lagnesh shows active inteligence (while Lagna - reactive) so this is also important point to check. Afflicted Lagna (by Rasi drsti) shows disturbed prana, while afflicted Lagnesh (by graha drsti) shows problem with inteligence. But the sixth/eight lords and badhakesh are the triggers to disease. These can be check with many methods/techniques. You can see malefics in sukha-trikona in navamsa and this will be time of afflicted fortune pertaining to health. Shoola is king of dasa in this regard. In case of two lords - see the stronger. The other will dominate in dasa. Guest guest
|| hare räma kåñna || Dear Gilbert, Namaskar Perhaps I can try and explain what Rafal meant. The placement of Surya from Lagna will show the fortune we have with regard to keeping good health. The placement of the Lagna from Surya will show our attitude towards keeping good health. So if Surya is in the 8th from Lagna, health will not be good. Meanwhile, Lagna is in the 6th from Surya, showing that the attitude towards keeping health is also not good. Same principle can be applied to any karaka and the house in consideration. E.g., Saturn in the 10th house is in 5th from 6th - which is good for 6th house diseases like colds/flu etc. But it is 3rd from 8th which is bad for 8th house matters for which Saturn is the karaka - longevity in particular. I believe Vistiji's book covers this principle. Best wishes, Samir At 03:58 13/08/2006, you wrote: >Om Namo Bhagavate Narayanaaya, > >Dear Rafal-Ji, Infinite Many Thanks for your response.
