Guest guest
Shri Prashant Sahab, Yes Sir, I know of our temples build with Vastu principles kept in mind, which have withstood onslaught...for centuries but remained standing in a dignified manner. Those not built in a Vastu manner suffer. The best and nearby example I can give is The famous Mahalaxmi temple in Bombay. There are so many devotees coming there in thousands every day. But below that a Swaminarayan temple built not as per Vastu, has few people coming in. Our Hindu ancestors were really great people and a great heritage which the westerners have realised off late and accepting too. affectionately, Bhaskar. , Prashant Kumar G B <gbp_kumar wrote: > > Bhaskr, > vaastu is know in AP for generations i picked up vastu more than 32 yrs ago astro a few yrs later. most houses r done that way, as u r born in Eluru sure u too have heard of it. > > and AGAMA SHASTRA or temple vaastu is part of vedic heritage u can c many temples which have withstood earth quakes and modern buildingds flattened with n it. simple as u go up it is tapered and wide base for a temple and also less of stel is sued so no swaying is done. > > bhaskar_jyotish <bhaskar_jyotish wrote: Shri Prafullaji, > > But certainly few Jain temples are made as per Vastu principles. > I have a book on architecture of Jain temples but have to search > hard for it . , which shows that Vastu was known by the peers, > though the belief may have faded down the line, but I tell > You whether, Hindu,Jains-Vaishnav-others,or Sikhs too-affluent > Punjabi business men, nowadays all are aware, and many believe, > whenever these believers are making shopping malls,or dept.store. > or shops, they do consult Vastu experts. > > Awareness is actually important and when what is hyped., > stays for that present time. > Feng shui though may have been in vogue for hundred years, > but in India has been hyped only since last ten years, the > business men knowing this weak point of Indians catching, > or having fancy to anything foreign, they have made hay. > Of course so with so many other things ...neptune > Pluto herschel though our Indians ancestors knew about it, > yet was pushed into syllabus of many reputed astrology > schools, unncessarily just because foreigners were doing so, > though no one knows for sure, what Pluto will give in 12 > Rashis, because You have to note the results at least ten times > in each circle through all rashis, and if all times similiar, > then only I would consider it to be put in text books, or else > the results should be seen through a Rishis eyes who when > with closed meditative eyes sees and narrates, then some > shishya notes all what he says down.
