chalo ek baar phir se ajnabi ban jaayen hum sab log!!

(lets get back to being strangers once again)

chotisi yeh duniya, pehchaane raaste hain, kabhi toh miloge, kahin toh miloge. toh poochenge haal.

(roughly this means the world is small, familiar are its path and chances of meeting each other sometime, somewhere: perhaps then we could exchange notes about our welfare)

thanks manoj for those lines. i really enjoyed reading them.

these lyrics are so full of meanings without being too weighty or preachy..

honestly i believe its quite tough to predict a high percentage as gopal does.

you have to give it to this man for being consistent most of the time.

i failed in predicting jayalalitha's defeat even though it was 50:50!!

she lost by a very thin margin and taking in mdmk as an ally sharing 32 precious seats was the biggest blunder for her as she could have won on her own!

gopal and kn raoji and others who said kk would win (his also is a minority govt. but win he did) could perhaps see it more clearly.

gopal is undoubtedly one among the best we have though i wish he would not describe himself as a poor indian this side of the globe. there's nothing poor about his predictions.

dear lakshmamma

thank you for your explanation. i appreciate the time you have taken for it. you write well.

we had to attend a function at thirukadayoor at the abhirami temple. i packed one of my favourite books by kn raoji - karma and rebirth as i get time during journeys and catch up with my reading books.

we missed the train for reasons beyond our control. instead took a bus which was going towards kumbakonam. there we were guided by Him to visit a few of the navagraha temples in the vicinity. we had wonderful darshan of guru, surya, shukra, rahu and angaarakan at different places dedicated for them. we visited 4 other temples there. i prayed for all the members of this list and also those of others where i am a member.

destiny had a big hand in pushing me when i had no plans at all.

it was an adventure from the word go. may we all pass these coming two months in peace and good health.

thanks again for your mail.

take good care

affly

dear lakshmamma

yes it is thanks to shri bvr but more thanks to you for bringing it up. otherwise i would never have known about it at all.

you can say that again about unplanned things being interesting provided we take it all in an adventurous spirit.

the auto in which we travelled to aalangudi guru temple gave us a lot of trouble on our way back. the head lights simply wont light up! it was pitch dark and we were travelling thro paddy fields with heavy vehicles criss crossing sharp curves. my husband handed me the cell phone so that i can flash the light whenever a vehicle was approaching! i had fun flashing it on and off as we had to be careful not to run out of battery too and were keen to avoid being hit in the dark!

some truck drivers blinked their headlights twice just to signal they got the message. until we reached city limits our hearts must have beaten at double speed. we had indeed taken some risk but it is over and we reached safe is what mattered most.

thanks again for your enlightening mail about tri-kaal-gnani.

god bless us all
