Guest guest
Shri Prashant Sahab, Genuinely I dont have anyone in my family doing this. I am not brahmin, and born in business family. Even if we read Gita in front of elders it is considered as -this fellow is wasting his time- Even doing astrology in any manner or showing Kundlis to astrologers is looked down upon in my family circle. They only believe in working.I may be the black sheep in my family. But my Uncles in South do this.Unfortunately I go there once in few years and not stay much with them to learn all this. Here since last 28 years have been going to office (family business) and come home only at night so never got opportunity to mix with brahmins, pandits and people who were truly religious. Now since last three months due to family differences am staying at home and working, and made home only my office, so want to do all this in the 4th stage of my life.My little knowledge comes from reading books which has always been my pastime. I dont waste time and have seen only one movie in cinema hall in last five years.Nothing great about this, but just telling You, since I have opened myself before all of You.But my wife has taken Brahma sambandh.I am not wearing any sacred thread because I felt I should be worth it, and be able to respect the conditions which go along, thats why when I got opportunity to get iniated into thread , I declined. But otherwise there is no sacred thread wearing in my family. affectionately, Bhaskar. , Prashant Kumar G B <gbp_kumar wrote: > > Baskar > no offense meant. u cud get such info from anyone doing it as well. > > btw anyone not doing sandhya vandana looses rights to perform shrada and even auspicious homas, in commnities where sacred thread is in vouge. > > a gen Gayithri for all castes without upanayanam alsl is > > SHREE MATRAE NAMAHA > SARVA CHAITANYA RUPAAM TAM > ADHYAM MADHYANTHA DHEE MA HEE > BUDHEEM YANAN PRACHODAYAAT. > > can be recited daily any no of times. pref in sun light hours. > > > bhaskar_jyotish <bhaskar_jyotish wrote: Shri Prashant Sahab, > > Thank You Sir for confirming.
