Guest guest
Dear Friends, I am a member of this group & go thru almost all the mails posted on this group. The information shared is very helpful to the learners of astrology . I also appreciate the efforts of all learned Jyotishies that they spare their valuable time to answer the queries of the group members. I have read few books but have not been able to develop a clear understanding of Retrograde planets. I would therefore request you to please through some light on this issue. Please let me know that how a planet behaves when retrograde: a) When in its own house b) When in a friends house c) When in neutral house d) When in an enemy house e) When exalted f) when debilated Some books say that retrograde planets give results of previous house. Pls comment Regards, Next-gen email? Have it all with the all-new Mail Beta.
Guest guest
Dear, There is a book, You may have read it. Retrograde Planets by Grace Inglis. Most of the other books available in market have copied passages from here, of course after quoting. The application part after taking above knowledge, with regards to actual predicting in transits what shall be and when shall be a particular effect taking place or being obstructed till planet turns direct, is actually a difficult excersise, but is also well explained in the readers of Krishna Murthy of KP System. I am still studying these effects. Regards, Bhaskar. , bk k <bk_k3 wrote: > > Dear Friends, > > I am a member of this group & go thru almost all the mails posted on this group. Guest guest
Dear, Many years back when I was searching results of retro planets for my own horoscope (Sat + Jup both retro in Capricorn), I asked many astrologers who could not explain me the results, (Even today here many astrologers fumble), but finally I got the answer in Deva Keralam by Shri Santhanam (Which is Nadi system). There is no compact concise text where we can get the results tabulated, we will have to pick them from here or there. For eg. Retro though debilated is considerd as strong as exalted. What about Retro exalted already ? If benefic planetthen benefics will be increased to the native, if debilated and Retro , evil results in greater proprtions to the natives ?I am still searching for many answers and actual precise truth. Guest guest
||Jai Ramakrishna|| Dear BK, It is very difficult to say where retrograde planets will give good results & where it will be bad. In phaladeepika,we find that a debilitated planet, when retrograded will give resluts, when it is exalted(or will give results of exaltation in plain English). In this conext, one may look at Navamsha, whether the planet is exalted in Navamsha or in own Navamsha & judge accordingly. Its true that retrograde planets get "Chesta Bala"(they are powerful to give some results), while some opine that natural malefics when retrograded give bad results while natural malefics give good results. Again its a common belief that retrograded planets when exalted give results ascribed to its debilitation condition..but I think in this context the Navamsa should be seen too..If that same planet is exalted, it will definitely give good results.(I have come across such a chart of this group quite recently, but I must withheld his name). I hope this helps you...I want to hear from Shree Prasanthji, Prafulla ji, Bhaskarji or Ashutoshji, who are learned in this subject... Guest guest
Dear Gauravji, For simple people like me who has not reached the actual truth, I agree that its better to look at the Navamsha position of the Retro planet whether in Exa.or Deb. and then guage the results, what the planet will give. For ex.though the planet may be deb.and retro and in 6th house in ones natal horoscope, if this same planet lands in Namavamsha 5th or 9th and in own house,I personally may not give verdict that it would be fully evil, but less evil results may accrue, that would be my personal line of thinking. Guest guest
Retrogression has little to do with its subha / ashubha state per specific lagna. It does indicate delays in results. Yes transit retrogression of shani / guru / rahu / ketu / mars etc have lots of significance for events. Refer MC Jain / western astrologers on interpretation of retrograde planets. Shri Ranjan ji also has a very eleborated article published, on retrogression. regards / Prafulla Gang They say that when a man holds a woman’s hand before marriage is love; after marriage is self-defense. > > gg_0202 (AT) (DOT) co.in > Wed, 09 Aug 2006 07:16:08 -0000 > > Re: Retrograde Planets > > ||Jai Ramakrishna|| > Dear BK, > It is very difficult to say where retrograde planets will give good > results & where it will be bad. Guest guest
Dear Friends, The horoscope I was analysing is POB Gurgaon TOB 02.40Hrs DOB 27.12.2005 Its a Tula rashi and Tula Lagna Kundali. Saturn & Venus are retrograde. Saturn is a yogkaraka planet and venus is Lagnesh. What effect they would cast was of interest to me. Similarly in another horoscope POB Gorakhpur TOB 11.11Hrs DOB 31.07.1971 Its also a Tula Lagan anfd tula rashi Kundali. In this Mars is exalted and is retrograde. How to analyze the two horoscope. What effects these retrograde planets would cast on the native throughout the life, in mahadasha / antardasha / or during Sani Sare Sathi (for Saturn Retrograde). Guest guest
Dear, At the moment I am studying Nakshatra Padhati which tells us not to give much credence to Exaltation, Debilation, or Retrogression. Here they say to gauge the results for the planets watch which Nakshatras they are into, which Bhava these Nakshatra Lords are occuppying, and which Bhava they own.The planet will give results in question first of the latter and than of the former. This way of guaging the planets results is givng very good results and removes many ifs, buts, without having to refer many documentaries or unsure results. Here is also the key why many people having superb horoscopes with many exalted or planets in own houses containing many good yogas, yet the native may be living life little better than a pauper, but not at all like what the Khokha Kundli shows apparently. But when timing transits or predicting when certain incident would happen, that time the Retrograde planets role would be very much, we have been told. This is my personal experience I am writing to You and not to advise or in any way teach or suggest, just that more options are available which can also be looked upon, which will bring finesse to what we finally predict. Guest guest
Bhaskar bhai nakshatra padhati also uses retrogression / exaltation etc. You may refer laghu parashari. If you can blend jaimini with it, results will be more crystal clear. By and large, it is karkatava of planet for specific chart..to be assessed. regards / Prafulla Gang They say that when a man holds a woman’s hand before marriage is love; after marriage is self-defense. > > bhaskar_jyotish (AT) (DOT) co.in > Wed, 09 Aug 2006 09:02:24 -0000 > > Re: Retrograde Planets > > Dear, > > At the moment I am studying Nakshatra Padhati which tells > us not to give much credence to Exaltation, Debilation, > or Retrogression. Guest guest
Dear, I shall do it whenever time permits for Your sake. But before questions arise let me write what was unwritten and understood to be read. In this padhati say for Mars I am watching the effects, I will not see straightaway whether Mars is exalted ,debilated, own Rashi,Enemys rashi, retrograde, without bala, etc.etc. I will see the Nakshatra lord, and then here check all the above where the Nakshatra Lord is sitting to know whether the results if good will come in pittances or abundances. For ex. Suppose Nakshatra Lord is The Sun. At this stage I would check where Sun is posited whether in own sign Leo, then abundance of good results, if in Libra then other results, if in watery sign then something else, if in Airy, if in Dual etc.etc. There is no deviation from the Primary path, just deviating in the starting and coming back on the same path. We can say a pin pointed approach without confusions. Regards, Bhaskar. , bk k <bk_k3 wrote: > > Is it possible for you to mail me the analysis of these two horoscope using nakshatra padhati, this will give me an understand of the nakshatra padhati, may be I too may develop interst in this padhati and start studying this for parallelly analysing horoscopes. > > Looking for your co-operation > > Regards > > bhaskar_jyotish <bhaskar_jyotish wrote: > Dear, > > At the moment I am studying Nakshatra Padhati which tells > us not to give much credence to Exaltation, Debilation, > or Retrogression. Guest guest
Dear friends, Retrograde malefics are good. However retrograde trine lords whether benefic or malefic indicates the person is desireless or free from the bondage of desire or by the way going to be so. So sometimes it may so lack of materialistic pleasure and privileges. retrograde benefics loose their natural beneficience if they are functional malefics. Besides that retrogression of planets in trines shows and individual endowed with a lot of power of introspection. Controlled by factors of materialistic pursuits can be a rank materialist. Retrogression of all planets in 3,6,8,12 houses are bad-whether exalted or otherwise. Moreover retrogression shows- the reversal of approach to solve the problems or face the things in life -i.e. something weird, unconventional. Guest guest
Dear Friend Haizen, I had already posted You reply but not come. Dont know where it went. I will try to remember and write what I wrote to You. Nakshatra Padhaty is nothing new actually. It was used by ancients in prognostications. We still use it for Muhurat finding but unfortunately limit this to here only. After wards when the Zodiac was divided into 12 parts ie, 12 Rashis, people found it easier to read the results by simply putting each planet in each sign and writing down the results, as mentioned in the texts, as this required not much brainwork. Eventually as time passed by many authors learning and writing on this subject gave rise to contradictions and confusions galore. Now the position is such that what one person says and quotes some other astrologer will bring the contradiction and provide reference too. For ex. Balarishta Yoga there are so many Yogas mentioned, but also many are mentioned for Bhanga of the same. tell me honestly how many astrologers after reading these effects have the guts and confidence to say with certainity that this child born on so and so date will not live to see the nextmorning. This is dangerous territory where no one will venture, though the rules are clear cut laid down. Why ? Because of contradictions. Late Shri BV Raman Sahab had used this extensively in his predictions with blending of Parashar and Jaimini, which many people are still not aware of. Late Shri Krishna Murthy also follower of parashari when he fell in this myriad of confusions, sought blessings of Lord Ganesha which he got, and then proceeded to take out the cream from Parashari ,(which was the milk),which ultimately came to be known as Krishna Murthy Padhati. There was no deviation but justtaking out the essence from the rainbow, just like Jaimini took out the essence in another colour from the same rainbow, as he too was actuallly.a physical disciple of Parashar Maharaj. If tomorrow someone else takes out his chapter of Ashtakvarga and is able to perfect it, the people who will follow this would call this system as someones system. therefore no bias, all in one and one in all. You may buy books by Krishnamurthy Publications known as Readers, I think 6 books are there, I had purchased them many years back when numbering system was not there. It may be hard and confsuing to understand in the start but once You get a feel of it and able to study and apply this, the results would be astounding.Especially for You as You are already an expert in aalysing.I have read Your posts on other Forums. In the meanwhile will try to group few links for study which will help You, myself and other like minded who would want to widen their horizons of knowledge without any bias.,towards any system but love and respect towards all who are looking for amalgamation of all these different ways when arriving at some conclusions., with regards to important query of any native. Guest guest
||Jai Ramakrishna|| Dear BK, In the 1st chart, (i.e. 2005-one)Saturn will give moderate results (as in inimical Navamsha & Rashi)...however as for tula lagna few antardasas will be good specially Sa-Venus. In the same chart, the dasa of Venus will be also very good, as Venus is exalted with Jpiter in Navamsha, it wil usher in hidden wealth or any diceased's wealth & property... In the 2nd chart, there can be any danger with the property,(like fire hazards)...in the Navamsha Mars in friendly navamsha...but affliction in 4th house might result in marring the mental peace. Tis is wut i feel with my limited knowledge... Thanq, With Humbleness, Wish u all success, http://gauravastro.150m.com -------------------No private mails please-------------------- , bk k <bk_k3 wrote: > > Dear Friends, > > The horoscope I was analysing is > > POB Gurgaon > TOB 02.40Hrs > DOB 27.12.2005 > > Its a Tula rashi and Tula Lagna Kundali. Saturn & Venus are retrograde. Saturn is a yogkaraka planet and venus is Lagnesh. What effect they would cast was of interest to me. Similarly in another horoscope > > POB Gorakhpur > TOB 11.11Hrs > DOB 31.07.1971 > > Its also a Tula Lagan anfd tula rashi Kundali. In this Mars is exalted and is retrograde. How to analyze the two horoscope. What effects these retrograde planets would cast on the native throughout the life, in mahadasha / antardasha / or during Sani Sare Sathi (for Saturn Retrograde). > > Regards > > > > bhaskar_jyotish <bhaskar_jyotish wrote: > Dear Gauravji, > > Whatever may be, but whether Sag.or Pisces Lagnas in both cases > the Lagna Lord is either sitting in 2nd or 11th , which constitutes > Dhana Yoga. also Mercury if dasha Lord was again Kendra Lords. > Therefore what You said may have occurred. > > Regards, > Bhaskar. > > , "" <gg_0202@> > wrote: > > > > ||Jai Ramakrishna|| > > Dear Bhaskarji, > > Even i have retro+debilitated Jupiter as LL, but all results were > > good during the Me-Ju dasa...i donno whether it was due to > > cancellation of Ju's debility or due to deb+retro condition... > > Thanq > > With Humbleness, > > Wish u all success, > > > > http://gauravastro.150m.com > > ----------------------No private mails please-------------------- --- > - > > > > > > , "bhaskar_jyotish" > > <bhaskar_jyotish@> wrote: > > > > > > Dear, > > > > > > Many years back when I was searching results of retro planets > > > for my own horoscope (Sat + Jup both retro in Capricorn), > > > I asked many astrologers who could not explain me the results, > > > (Even today here many astrologers fumble), but finally I > > > got the answer in Deva Keralam by Shri Santhanam (Which is > > > Nadi system).
