Guest guest Posted August 25, 2006 Report Share Posted August 25, 2006 Hello everybody, I am writing this mail for my mother. she is having a swelling in the neck, mainly in the region of the thyroid.She consulted an allopathic doc and underwent laboratory tests. the results are, 1.T3, T4, and tsh are normal 2. the cytology report reveals that clinical diagnosis-solitary nodular goitre microscopy-smaears show small groups of scattered and cuboidal or oval cells having dense nuclei. lymphocytes,plasma cells,histiocytes,foamy cells are seen.no malignant cells or abnormal cells identified 3. impression-consistent with benign thyroid nodule-adenoma thyroid she is 42 years old.the doctor told that if it enlarges should have to remove it surgically. please advice me and also give ayurvedic corelations also can it be treated by ayurveda. waiting for your advices Riyaz Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
