Have you contacted Dr Jay Apte? She is very experienced, by what I

have heard from clients very good with mothers & children. San

Francisco, she also teaches ayurveda other places, including Foster

City CA.

If it were my child I would begin with pitta reducing, vata also

probably. Ayurvedic correct use of milk would be to look at among

many other things (on this I have an article

http://www.sacredwindow.com/Articles-Milk.html). Also a long post on

allergies and babies, it is my beginning focus there and I look for

more info from any caring to share, as that topic question was why do

babies whose mothers drink milk/eat dairy often come up in a few weeks

with blood in their stool? They respond well to removing the dairy,

often after 1 - 2 weeks delay. I've begun to address it, but the

pitta component, I would like more input on.

(www.perinatalayurveda). The use of manjista

and probably slipper elm tea together would be part of my protocol, as

well as removing often problematic use of fish, fermented cheeses and

eggs.

Warm regards;

People try to explain a disease and use terms vata , pittha, For me it seems like a religious slogan for ayurveda

of course I didnt understand what they mean.
