Guest guest
Dear Group, I am trying to support the Ayurvedic community to fill in a gap that I perceive in local sustainable food production. I think that this is a vital issue that ties into most of our modern challenges: health, fuel, environmental damage, poverty...you name it. To that effort I've teamed up with a local biodynamic farm to produce a "Holistic Farming Program" (www.peacefullivinghhc.com/farmprogram.htm). I see biodynamic farming exceptionally aligned with Ayurveda. >From this group I'm wondering: Do you also see a strong affinity between biodynamic farming and Ayurveda? What efforts and successes have you or others made to support local sustainable farming practices/economies in your areas? How does our program look to you? We are supporting our participants to walk away with a strong foundation in these principles and the skills to start biodynamic farming at home and in their communities.
