Guest guest
Hi guys, someone posted a message saying his mother was suffering from pyhorrea/periodontal disease of gums etc and is in pain. Noone bothered to answer the message with any remedies. >From what I knew, I have suggested a gum massage with mustard oil mixed with rock salt to cure the same. If there are more remedies, I would appreciate if you guys come up with some. It will be better providing solutions here rather than arguing over some points and satisfying egos. -Ashutosh
Guest guest
Ashutosh, your message was the first one that caught my eye as I joined the group tonight. I have some really good things to share for problems with gums and teeth. First my reccomendation is to stop using poisonous flouride toothpastes. Tom's Toothpaste from Maine is a great substitute. But for healing and treatment, first I always rinse with salt water. Second I use a natural form of magnesium chloride as a super strong mouthwash and teeth and even bone strengthener. But the real magic is in using the pure healing power of the earth, a fine calcium bentonite clay that has been rated safe for oral consumption. I brush my teeth and soak my gums in this clay and the healing effects are evident almost immidiately. And then I swallow the clay and get its full intestinal cleaning benefits. Am so happy to have to use the clay twice or three times a day to clean my mouth for it means I have the perfect excuse or ritual that ensures I eat my healing clay. The above information I think is important to many people for some of the first signs of disease and heavy metal toxicity is deterioration in the environment of the mouth. You certainly can see the effects of any inbalances on the tongue....gums as well. Hope I find some interesting people and healers in this group. Guest guest
having delt with teeth problems myself, my experience has been that for excessive pain in a particular spot inside your mouth, clove oil on a swab of cotton has been a life saver. despite it being too strong of an oil to normaly reccomend keeping in your mouth it really does stop the pain quite well. it has an anti-bacterial effect if that is an issue, and also will deaden an affected nerve in the case of infection pain. i also have had success with using neem powder and water to swish out my mouth with and taking white willow bark through out the day as aspirin. as general maintanance i swish with the neem water a few times a week and sometimes tea tree oil(on top of brushing, flossing, and tongue scraping of course). regularly swishing with sesame oil will help strengthen and build the teeth and gums as well. hope this is of some help. ayurveda, "Mark" <director wrote: > > Ashutosh, your message was the first one that caught my eye as I > joined the group tonight. Guest guest
hi ashutosh an excellent herb for any dental problems is akarkara (spilanthes, paracress or "toothache" plant) its a tropical plant found in india, africa, south america etc. if you can get it fresh, the simplest way to use it is to chew on the flower buds it provides immediate pain relief, stimulates a profound flow of saliva, and is highly effective to restore a proper oral ecology similar plants include echinacea and prickly ash seed, all of which contain similar chemical compounds called "isobutylamides" - akarkara simply contains the highest amount i prepare akarkara as a tincture, and then combine it with other herbal tinctures such as myrrh resin (bola) and bayberry bark (kaiphal), dilute with water and add a couple drops of clove and cinnamon essential oil i have a formula i give out to patients and use myself daily - if anyone would like it please contact me off-list for details currently, i am in the process of developing a trial to test its benefits in cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy... best... todd ayurveda, ashutosh_x <no_reply wrote: > > Hi guys, > > someone posted a message saying his mother was suffering from > pyhorrea/periodontal disease of gums etc and is in pain.
