Guest guest
Hi Mare, The praying at noon thing was in the movie "Darshan." Amma announced that we should tell all of our friends and family everywhere to pray, wherever we are, in buses, offices, wherever, for peace. She said that we might not achieve that peace, but we must try. She said that we are heading into an abyss. This was the part that Swamiji was kind of butchering in the translation. It upset me a little bit, too, as some others mentioned. I know it's not easy translating a language (I often translate for my portuguese-speaking mother in law), and often at best all you can do in the moment is capture the jist of it, but I do wish so badly that I spoke Malayalam so that I could hear Amma's words in their original form. You south indians don't know how lucky you are.... love, Prajna "Children, all of spirituality is contained in that one word: Awareness." - Amma
