Guest guest
"While I can respect your opinion But that is not the point that several were trying to make." Namah Shivaya, Respecting another's opinion, is not needing to make a point about something. It is acceptance, and even silence. The people who are coming from a more open and accepting mindset, are truly trying to find a place of Unity here. The people who have gotten upset about a mention of another living saint, even though we have received messages before on this list with mention of either dead saints and their teachings, or links to websites and articles with others ideas, are for some reason, completely intolerant right now. This to me is deeper than the topic at hand, and more personal, and maybe has nothing to do with the topic. One of the most important part of the spiritual path is time for silence and inner contemplation. Are you taking time for meditation and taking personal inventory? Should you not see yourself as the Dust at the Guru's Feet, even another guru, who is a messenger of God. It is OK if you choose not to believe in this other guru, but you should be comfortable bowing down to them as an agent of God. And have respect for their mission and the people they have come here to teach. And yes..there are some impostors out there...but in a way they too should make you appreciate the True Gurus even more. Amma bows down to us. We too need to bow down to one another.
