There's plenty of Amma quotes about the importance of solitude in doing sadhana. Trying to do sadhana among others in the beginning keeps you adjusted to the group's pace, when the thing you need most is an established routine and focus on Amma, not going with the crowd. There is individual Liberation, not "group liberation" as Amma says.
