Many Divine Mothers and apologies

Here is a thought though:

Just because someone writes something in a book, doesn't make it true.

Just because someone says something in a talk, satsang or private comment, doesn't make it true.

Again, it is just food for thought.

I used to believe everything I read, especially in the spiritual arena. Now I know better.

Many Divine Mothers and apologies

Dear Sister A and everyone really,

As I am not even sure how to respond to what has

happened since I first responded a bit to the Mother

Meera interests.

There are definitely people who are coming from

different and very strong viewpoints.

And some of the people that are coming from the

viewpoint of being OK with meeting other Spiritual

Masters have had to respond to me in private. This

should not be, we should try to honor everyone's place

of learning and comfort zone.

The message below was taken as part of a post I sent

out to the list. And it is out of context, and I would

ask you to read all of my posts again, as they were

coming from a place of seeking Unity, but also noting

that Unity is not really where we are all coming from

here on this list...and that is what has seemed to

surface.

My response about Amma having the ability to commune

with different Saints and Avatars comes from the book

that I am currently reading about Mother Meera called

"The Mother", where in her teens, she was integrating

her Consciousness and Learning about Her mission here

on this planet. She was being guided by all of the

Great Goddesses as well as Sri Ramakrishna, Yogananda,

Sri Aurobindo and a number of others.

She also shares her ability of being able to be fully

conscious with someone here on Earth and being able to

travel through the worlds and have another experience

someplace else simultaneously

But I was not able to share that piece of information

with you. It has helped me to learn more about what it

is really like to be an Avatar. Mother Meera is not a

Guru. She says herself, it does not matter whether you

believe in her or not. She is here to help us in

whatever way we may need it.

Our beloved Amma, does not speak about her personal

experience with us, as Her Life is filled with Serving

Others, and she does not place emphasis on this sort

of thing.

But to me this is fascinating. Learning of other

Masters experiences helps me to better understand what

the possibilities are for becoming fully conscious.

My path has always been to learn about all religions

and spiritual practices. And to study with many

teachers. In fact my coming to the Divine Mother was a

result of a research project that I chose as the

culmination of a Masters thesis, where I was exploring

the Divine Mother through all religions and spiritual

paths, and sharing with others the gifts that the

Divine Mother is now brining to humanity.

The book "The Path of the Mother", written by an Amma

devotee was my primary resource. In fact I read the

book three times in a row, which in my 16 plus years

of spiritual searching, I have never done before.

So this is how Amma drew me into her Fold. But I was

working with all of the Mothers as a whole...and just

see them that way. Although Amma is the most endearing

to me and is my guru.

Upon meeting Mother Meera, I did not feel the same

affection for her as I do for Ammachi. But by the

second Darshan, I was beginning to feel more

comfortable with Her.

She speaks of various Mothers as well as Adi Shakti

and all of the major Hindu Goddesses working with Her

quite a bit to help Her to strengthen Herself and

prepare for Her work in this world.

It was my assumption, that our dear Amma also had help

in preparing for Her mission. But this is only an

assumption. How can we even begin to understand what

an Avatar feels as they come in to a world where there

is primarily darkness and they have signed on to help

Save and Teach humanity.

Well, dear Mother Meera, shares her experience with

us.

Yogananda's whole autobiography of a Yogi was going

from Master to Master to learn various lessons.

I have met Saints that I did not resonate with at all

and who I felt were more a diversion on the Path.

After living in a big city, where there is hardly any

connection to spirit, I jump at the chance to be in

the presence of an avatar or saint, for continued

inspiration, to feel the closeness of God's Love,

until I can hold this completely myself, and to

receive their blessings, which I know will assist me

on my path.

To each their own. I express my apologies if I have

hurt anyone's feeling here on this list. I hope that

we can come together even more and be a support for

one another.

Each person's path is important. And it might be

refreshing for people to share their personal stories

of awakening from time to time.

We can only do our best. And I know I can use all of

the help I can get while here on this planet.

Love,

S
