Guest guest
I believe that our love for the Divine Mother goes beyond individual names and forms. On the more subtle levels, the Mothers all work together, and each of them are rays or emanations from the one Supreme Divine Mother. Their work in this world is precious, and they are all One, linked in a supreme network, reaching out to connect with the subtle variances and different natures of Her children. Just as a mother might cook rice and beans for one child and eggs and toast for another, so it is with the Supreme Divine Mother. In Her compassion and mercy for us, She sends different emanations or rays of Herself to the earth, so that all of Her children, and their different natures, will be satisfied. That is why each of the Divine Mothers who are here at this time has a different approach, style and personality. But they are all one, and they are interconnected. I am so blessed that I have been able to spend some beautiful time in the presence of Mother Meera. She is profoundly beautiful, and Her silence carries me into the heights of bliss and sublime peace. She gave me the gift of my beloved son, at a time when I could not get pregnant. I did not even ask Her for such a gift. In Her presence, all desire fell away. She gave anyway. She also blessed me with the intense desire to progress with my sadhana, and removed many obstacles on my path. She is a beloved Mother, and it is She who lead me to Amma. To me, they are not separate. The separateness is the maya. When we go beyond the maya of separation, the maya of names and forms, we can easily perceive the unity in the work of the Mothers. Their presence is a profound miracle, and we should strive to see the unity in their work. It is only the mind that wants to see otherwise. With separation we run the risk of thinking that one is better than the other, or that my path is better than yours. The Mothers are there for all of us. Their ultimate goal is the same. Their individuality is only there so that each child will have what is most comfortable for them, and be able to progress more quickly. Look at the variety of flowers that flourish upon the earth. Different types of bees are attracted to the scent and color of different flowers. A strain of bee that is used to honeysuckle will die if they are transported to a place where there are only tulips. It is their nature to be attracted to honeysuckle. This is the beauty of creation. It is all within God's grand design. God understands our different natures, and provides us with just what we need in order to progress. To evolve. Who understands the child's nature better that the mother? Once we find a Master who we deeply trust and Love, then we dive deeply into that one divine well, and become a miner of Divine Love and Wisdom...a miner for a heart of gold! But we can still appreciate, adore and drink from the Divine Springs near the mine, knowing that they all originate from the One Ocean of Love ..it would be foolish not to. This is only my own humble two cents, Beloved Ones. Please forgive me if I have offended any of my brothers and sisters. May She bless all of Her children with true understanding and clear vision. Guest guest
ONS, Sanatani, this is the essence of what Meera represents. Silence, and simplicity. There are no words used in her presence. One sits in silence for several hours. I feel like I have only just begun to understand Her offering. Her Shakti last night was as huge as Amma's is on Devi Bhava! Even though I had read a few books on her over the past several years and knew about Her, I purchased the books written by Adilasksmi, to deepen my connection to Her while I was there(not needed, but just something I like to do). I am going over Meera's personal experiences of awakening as a young woman, and also the answers to the many questions that people ask her. Her whole approach is just so simple. Wherever you are in your life, and whatever you are doing, keep the heart and mind open to the Divine. No need to do anything fancy, or even to go and see her, she will come to you. There is no need to change anything about your life or practice, Guru, religion. If you want Her help, she is there to help you! Call on her, ask Her for anything that you need. She said that this is one of the most auspicious times to be on Earth to receive the Light. All of our attention at this time should be on merging with the Divine and allowing the Divine to fill us with this Light. She said it is not our personal time here, but the Divine's time. Another thing that I noticed about Her, is that she does not try to draw anyone one to Her personality, or to Her. She does Does the Work. She is just the vehicle for the Mother's Love to come through. Upon reading the little bit of the book "The Mother", it seems that all of the Gods and Goddesses and Lights, Yogi's and Avatars are all working together. And that We too should see this and work with them in this way and of course, work with each other in this way. Guest guest
Although it is very nice to hear about satsang with great beings, with all due respect, I do agree with Amalia Darling that this may not be the best place to discuss those experiences. It can be difficult enough to surrender to a SatGuru -- why add to the possible distractions (or in this particular case, the politics and hurt feelings of some former devotees who are now members of the greater Amritanandamayi chela-hood? Guest guest
Namah Shivaya, How to please everyone. Some of us have come from traditions that include everything. And know no other way to express. How can we have an open heart to the moment? Several on this list requested more information. If there is a need, then someone will come forward who can fill it. I am learning that it is not We who do, but She who does through us. If one is guided to share with an open heart and if the message is coming from Love, then it may need to come. We should not need to walk on egg shells to share the Mother's Love, as this will look differently to each of us. We can use discrimination, and we can choose to be tactful in how we share and what we share. There is a person in this forum who shares Sivananda messages from time to time. The last message was a Godsend, and I am so happy that this person listened to his heart and passed the info forward. Many of us have learned valuable wisdom over the many years that we have been dedicated to the path of Love. We are all teachers for one another, and even mother's for each other. Divine inspiration will come in it's own time, and not when it is best for only a few. Can we hold one another in this forum to share from our hearts when we feel called to do so? If not, then this might not be the right place for me, no problem. I Love Ammachi more than life itself, and know that she guides me to share. Om Amrtesvaryai Namah~! Namaskarams~! i trust that Divine Mother is blessing and protecting you all! as i said earlier, i do not believe that discussing satsang or darshan with Mother Meera, or submitting teachings from Sivananda or Sivaya Subramuniyaswami is distracting at all for the true devotee of Ammachi...All of these great Ones are working for the same aim...to help to liberate us all from our egoistic misconceptions of what is right and wrong...what is appropriate and what is distracting...what is surrender and what is not...in the objections to posting Meeramma experiences i see mostly the objections of the intellectual mind, which will never have done with questions and objections. however if we are to dive into the peace and Love of experiencing the Presence of Mother Meera or Ammachi, then i feel that all of these objections will vanish...after all it is NOT a contest, but rather a cooperative effort by these Mahatmas to uplift the entire earth and all it's peoples...the Masters are not arguing or fighting...They are cooperating....so why should we argue about who should or should not be included in these postings, if the writer feels inspired to share the experiences with us, his/her brothers and sisters... i feel that if someone is feeling inspired to share these experiences with us, that we should welcome them with an open heart to see what Amma is bringing us in Her lovely basket of joys today....instead of criticising and complaining that it was not something that we were expecting or wanting...what Mother gives us is what Mother gives us...and if that includes the experiences of some of Her children with Mother Meera, i think that is perfectly fine to share with the rest of us. if we have trouble surrendering to the Guru, and have "hurt feelings" over being "betrayed" by some former Guru, that is OUR OWN problem, which we must do our best to overcome... Mother has told us that we are now on the bus and that we should be putting down our luggage...and enjoying the ride....part of that luggage is the lack of desire to surrender, and the "hurt feelings" from former guru abuse....Mother says that we shouled just say YES to all of life...and that includes taking in with an open heart and open mind the possible experiences of being with another form of HER Who is the ONE and ONLY Divine Mother...THERE IS NO COMPETITION BETWEEN THEM... instead of ordering only one dish in this restaurant of Divine Love, we have the luxurious benefits of being able to taste the delights of a "Buffet" of Divine Mothers and other Teachers, each of whom may have something to offer us EVEN THOUGH we are students/children of Ammachi!! so i believe that if one is inspired to share, one should share...unless the entire forum decides otherwise...just a couple people or three should NOT rule the forum... and if most of the folks on this Ammachi forum decide that they do NOT want this kind of sharing...then we must transmigrate over to the Ammachi free speech zone, as our darling little sister Prajna did earlier (not wanting to offend anyone, she took the hint immediately....however, i'm made of different stuffs, and feel strongly that there is NO REAL DIFFERENCE between Meeramma and Ammachi in their deepest connections with the Adi Parasakti...both are emanations of the SAME Adi Para Sakti...emanations of the SAME DIVINE MOTHER...and really that is what this group is all about...connecting with the DIVINE MOTHER through satsang with each other... i don't find it confusing or distracting in the least but rather inspiring and stimulating, filling my heart with Love and my eyes with Tears!! May our Divine Mother bless each and every one of you with pure love of Her Lotus Feet in ALL of Her Forms, both the ones we are familiar with, and the ones we have yet to encounter!! in Her Divine Love, and in Her Service, as ever, your own SElf, visvanathan Om Amrtesvaryai Namah! > > >
junipur
I don't know if you will ever see this reply, since it 4 years after you've written this. My experiences with Amma and Meera ..went the other way...Amma and Meera, but it's all the same way. So many devotees get stuck in the form and not the infinite nature of the Divine Incarnation of the /Devi. I have written a book Called Mother of Light:The Book of Fire vol 1 The Bardo.. There is also a 4.5 minute short Video..Junipur speaks..on yutube..see me there and come to the website, and/or email.
