Guest guest
Beloved Joanna, Thank You so much for sharing your story. The loss of your mother during your adolescence must have been so painful for you. However, I think the fact that Kali Ma appeared to you during that time through your art work was a very beautiful sign. Kali Ma is your eternal mother, and was trying to show you that She has been with you and will always be with you, and even death can not take Her from your life. Do not be afraid of Kali. People who do not understand Her will view Her with fear, yet that is simply because they do not understand Her true nature. Bhadra Kali (Benign Kali) . She is movement (Shakti), or the power that manifests all, as opposed to that absolute incomprehensible neutrality called Brahman, which is also eternal, but unchanging. Amma is no other than Bhadra Kali. She is the ultimate personification of Goodness, Divine Love and Power experienced as the Divine Mother; She is the most auspicious Goddess, willingly taking upon Herself the darkness, sins and vasanas of mankind, hence Her black color and fierce appearance. Out of pure Love, She consumes the demons that keep Her children from experiencing their true nature; Happily exchanging Her own merits for the demerits of Her children. She is the giver of all auspiciousness. She eternally dwells within the timeless, sacred space of your own Heart. She is your very Self, and as such, She is the knower of every thought, every feeling, every experience you have ever had. There is no biological mother who could ever understand you in this most intimate way. The fact that the Kali image and your mother's death is reappearing now, means that Amma is bringing healing to the deep wound you have been carrying around with you all these years. The only way out is through. Please trust Her. She is the consummate healer, and where ever She is bringing you, you can trust that She is only taking you through the wound so that it can be healed, and this in turn will bring you to an even greater capacity to experience deep inner peace and happiness, and to develop a strong bridge to the Self. She will provide you with everything you need. May Her blessings bring you infinite happiness and peace, dear sister! May you shine ever more brightly with Her Light and Love! After I always tried to avoid the image of Kali as it always reminded me the tragic death of my biological mother , Ammachi for the first time this year kept on calling me in my language " My Daughter " over and over each time I would see Her , previoius years it was Ma , but this years She would say it many times in my language . For some reason Kali image and my mothers death seemed to realy reapear this year , I thought of putting Her image in Shrine but am a bit worried if some sad or even angry feelings might reapear ? , hmmm thank you for the input in light , Joanna )) > > I think that it would increase anger.
