Planting a Seed for Peace on September 11, 2006

"This year 9/11 is the 100th anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi's

implementation of satyagraha- his nonviolence movement in South Africa

that he later used in gaining independence for India.

 

That came to me today in an email from a wonderful woman who is leading

a musical event dedicated to peace and nonviolence on September 11.

That's a Monday this year.

 

It's a good day to do something together with others and dedicate it to

peace inside each of us, peace in our communities and peace int he

world.
