Guest guest
If thats the case then i am sincerely asking Keval to please reexamine this group in light of the fact that it is a satsang...satsangs must have rules of decorum, or a lot of energy gets wasted. As westerners we seem to dislike rules, or limits to "free speech", but that line of thinking needs balance. The closer we get to Amma, the more she shows her sterner "Guru" aspect, and that means just a little more discipline and a little less unrestrained ego. I have had to enforce the closing of the doors at Devi Bhava, and honestly it goes agaisn't my grain to stop people from going to see Amma. But again and again, Amma would send word down that people were sneaking in. And you know what, she was absolutely correct. That in itself is a little mind blowing. She is aware of everything that is going on! But it forced me to start finding a way to enforce this new protocol, in a gentle but firm way, of course leaving room for circumstances. It was my lesson to learn how to respect the rules. That is the case here. Tom's comments have gone beyond useful and into the area of ranting and insulting, not just to the Swamis and satsang groups but, by implication to Amma as well. This is disruptive. Tom can take that line of writing to the Amma free speech zone. Keval, please reconsider and take the thought and time to do a more "aware" job as moderator. It not about our ideas of laissez faire or a newspaper level of free speech, but Amma's dharma, which we all have a sense of by now. In a physical satsang, everyone knows that Tom's behavior would not be acceptable. Tom has been doing this baby guru wannabe gig since the 90's in the Arlington satsang, so I don't expect it to change. Ammachi, "Mahamuni Das" <mahamuni wrote: > > We tried this remember? Guest guest
I second this. Keval, maybe more moderating is in order here. Or what about the concept of a revolving person or two being in charge of moderating the forum. They would be elected by the group. I know this is what we do annually in the San Diego Satsang for the various positions. Just a thought and consideration. Each person brings a different flavor. Why keep splitting into more and more groups? There are enough, no? Lets just make this board a great and beautiful place to be. Personally I feel it already is. It is a holy place, a Shakti Pith, a Temple of the Goddess. Lets just clean it more and get rid of the dust and cobwebs, okay? Jai Maa!
