Guest guest
Enter your vote today! A new poll has been created for the Ammachi group: Aum Amriteswaryai Namah. This "poll" follows up on the -satsang thread of wishing for and wondering about the possibility of soliciting some direct guidance from our beloved Amma. Please forgive me if the "choices' below do not fully convey your feeling, and if you can, choose one that most matches your sentiments. I believe you can change your answer until the close of the polling. Thank you, and love, Prashanti o Please Mother, speak to us! o Thank you Mother, I know you are probably too busy for our little quarrelsome group here. o Oh dearest Amma, I love you too much to even deign to ask anything of you! o OM LOKAH SAMISTA SUKHINO BHAVANTU! o Jai Jai Jai Durga Maharani, Jai Guru Mata Amba Mata! Guest guest
Om Namah Shivaya! Hi Prahsanti At times, I know that Amma is always with me and also that Amma is considered as a presence and not a person. And that whenever I ask Amma, I know that I get answers through my feelings and not by words. If Amma answers by words, it is possible i may misinterpret what She says. Then there are other times, when I find myself into the other side. That is when I feel clueless in life. We can say Amma as too busy when we consider Amma as just a person. But we know Amma as the divine pure energy which is there for us always guiding us. How much we avail of that, depends on the resistance we have within just like the way current flow is regulated by the internal resistance of a substance. Amma doesn't consider our group as quarrelsome. Amma would say each of us behave according to our knowledge and share our knowledge with others. (Am I not having a difference in opinion now?) I know 'LOKAH SAMASTHA SUKINO BHAVANTU' is my choice at times as each person's problems affect the whole World as in higher levels everyone of us is like a bead in a string. But other times, I feel separate. Cheers, mahadevan venkitaraman Ammachi, Ammachi wrote: > > > Enter your vote today! A new poll has been created for the > Ammachi group: > > Aum Amriteswaryai Namah. Guest guest
Yes, you are quite right Mahadevan, She is more than "a person" to ask, and undoubtedly would see through the quarrels etc. right into the heart of the matter. And see - this is precisely an example of what Sanatani was pointing to yesterday: the way Amma moves through the actions and words of other "at just the right time." I went to sleep and woke up thinking, "Hmm, I really dashed off those poll questions, and 'quarrelsome' might hit people the wrong way,'" and here you are highlighting exactly that same word!" You are lucky if you can trust your intutive "feelings" about Amma's guidance. There are times when I get a sense in my gut or my heart, but the intellect wants precious words around which to hang a frame of thinking. I doubt some of the Mind's promptings as my own ego or vasanas, where as Amma's guidance tends to cut through to the heart of the matter. At any rate, I'm on several other for music, and we sometimes resort to polls for matters that are getting hashed out 'on the floor' without moving forward. I meant to just give two options - Yes let's ask or No She's probably too busy - and then recalled all the prayers we really could be doing for this World, and then recalled a discussion I heard recently between several very devoted devotees, who never ask Amma any questions, and then thought about how lucky we are to have this Form of the Goddess as our Guru. May Devi's subtle intelligence guide us indeed. Much love, prashanti
