Namah Shivaya,

Reading the nectarian words of my siblings I think of the times I have

wished to be a bead on Mother's mala, or Her nose ring, or a hair

on Her head, so I could be that close to Her for as long as I could.

This forgetting that She is always with us, and a hair on Her head or

Her nose ring does not have the ability to feel Her presence or to become

one with Her forever. Of course these things are already one with Her,

as is everything else in the universe, but we are in the unique position

to know it.

Besides, a bead can't meditate or chant or serve.

Thank you for once again reminding this child of how blessed we all are.

Love,

Prasadini

PS Please excuse me for not clipping the below messages. I didn't have the

heart - they are too beautiful.

Oh Chitanand,

How very beautiful! It struck me upon reading your beautiful post that

we are each a golden thread, lovingly woven, and interwoven within Her

luminous sari. We lay upon Her sacred body, as the planets lay within

the warmth of the sun. Together, the threads of Her devotees are woven

into one exquisite, luminous garment that lays upon Her divine skin. Her

body (both subtle and physical) shares it's splendor with us all!

Our acts of surrender give us the stillness necessary to rest upon Her

skin, and become on with Her brilliance. We are 1,008 times more

valuable than those saris made of mere cloth! This briliance is then

shared with the world.

In Her Love,

Sanatani

In Amma's Krishna and Jealous Gopi Parable my mind drifts toward a

section of M.A. Center's Travelling Bookstore. There is a section

where they sell Saris that Amma has worn at Devi Bhava's These

items are several hundred dollars in price. Bracelets worn by Amma

are far more expensive due to Her skin contact etc. Why?

If you were a non spiritual scientist with a minor in Marketing one

would think - well, - the mark up in price is due to the proximity of

Amma's skin to the article of clothing or jewelry or cloth.

Amma/Krishna (in the parable) wants to remind us that each and every

Devotee has not only come in contact with Amma but have had our hair

stroked, our chins and cheeks tweeked and even felt the Devi's holy

lips on our foreheads. Are we not one hundred and eight times more

valuable than a Sari from a Devi Bhava?

Lokaha Samasthaha Sukino Bhavantu,

Chitanand
