Dear All,

Probably someone in this group can give me ideas to help me out. I do

regular sadhana but lately, the pain in my knees is getting worse and

as a result, I am not bring able to put full attention to my sadhana.

The knee ache is a result of sometimes hours that I spend in my

sadhana and today the result is that spending more than 1 hours is

getting difficult. If anyone is aware of any technic or exercise and

willing to share, that would be great.

Regards,

Bhupendra

This happens, I remember sometime back I developed a terrible pain while doing sadhana...........now I turned the pain into one more aspect of the sadhana and sat till tears poured........then more tears poured.......offering the pain and the prayer.............one day after months it disappeared!

Dear Chiranjeevi Jamnadas

May Lord relieve of your knee pain and permit you to remain at his lotus feet for much and a better time.

I do not know whether I can write, the word "sukhaaseena" is mentuined in almost all sadhanaas. Most of consider the padmasana is only for Sadhana and I have been clarified by a great sage of Himalayaas that all sadhanaas need not be performed only in Padmasana Posture. The word Sukhaseena means "a comfortable sitting posture", keeping this in view please modify your siting posture that absolutely suits your physical features. Taking some medicine or pain killer and continuing the age old adopted styles of sitting, may lea to further damage and ultimately land us into "nowhere position". Please therefore take a sitting posture which remains more comfortable to you and your body.

Regarding joint pains, is it something to do arthiritis in your case? Yours affly HARA HARA MAHADEVA DR P V SESHA SAI ASWAMEDHAYAAJI

Namaste Punditji,

The knee pain is not a result of athritis. Most probably is I stop

sitting down for sadhana, the pain will be gone within a week. The

pain is gradually building up from all the time I spend sitting on

the floor for my sadhana...it seems as though just when it the pain

is subsiding, it is time for me to sit again.

Thanks,

Bhupendra.

Dear Shri Jamnadasji

I hope I made it clear to you that Sadhana can also be performed on a SUKHAASEEN - which means a comfortable sitting posture and not necessarily sitting down for a length of time. Please have unhesitatingly SUKHASEEN instead of sitting down and bearing the problem or aggrevating the problem. Please refer to Dharma Nirnaya Sindhu - a authoritative text on Dharma Sutraas and Apadharma procedures. Affly HARA HARA MAHADEVA DR P V SESHA SAI ASWAMEDHAYAAJI
