PRAFULLA,

well on china we have 2 extremes issues

1 is they work/slog unlike even Japanese who worked hard and succeeded well.

Chinese are exploited-we must never be thee but may be some parts we must have of theirs.

as govt usurps lands of poor farmers and give one a job builds multiplexes industries rest nothing

workers get 1 day off in a yr a women who wanted to take day off to nurse her sick child quit in frustration at not able to help the child and still starved.

workers work in horrible safety standards u work as long as u r fit after that govt doesn't care or support if u r injured by their hopeless safety standards.

.. but where they succeed is as a nation they pour money back to their country one person who goes to US, UK OR CANADA etc pours in all his earnings and also brings in fellow Chinese we do bring max a Panjabi, Bengali,, a malyalee, a tamil a Gujarati never an Indian. [here i mean anyone who has talent,MERIT, HARD WORK, stuff, but by our LCD=LOWEST COMMON DENOMINATOR]

from anywhere else from India. neither we allow them here to do well be it business, sport, politics anywhere.

if our left sees how the workers there are and here a pampered lot, who strike at will they can see what communism has achieved -NOTHING but as a totalitarian regime they bull doze population and may be 2 generations suffer but their bumper population's future is safe. just imagine what happened to Europe in WORD WARS, FAMINE, PLAGUE ETC so what if a few generations go the fittest survive seems their motive left here is still in dark ages

JAPAN, CHINA prospered by siding with USA on all issues and stillreaced where they r our left and SP, BSP, COG says NAM we must have an independent foreign policy which is anything but anti India in all respects.

Forget the self sufficiency, when we could produce more (where one man's work is done by 3 family members) in agriculture, why Not?

In private sector too, we are not able to meet any external competition. when chinese can supply say at x dollar, why not we? Indian corporate may be more effecient than government, but they are still far behind in terms of technoogy adoption, innovation, costing etc.
