For any of you living in the SF Bay area of Northern California, this

cooking class is coming up next weekend at my home in Menlo Park.

Please email me if you are interested - I have 2 more spaces

available.

Blessings,

Connie

Yoga Mammas is again having another great cooking class with

Sharmila Shankar of Prakruti Ayurveda:

Ayurvedic Vegetarian Cooking for the Whole Family

Saturday, August 12th, 9:30am

A delicious lunch is included following the class at 12 noon

(with socializing to follow!)

At Connie's home in Menlo Park

$30 per person, max 14 people (reserve your space early!)

You'll learn:

- a little bit about Ayurveda, the health science of India

- several simple and delicious Indian vegetarian dishes

- how to make foods more "digestible" and less "gassy" with

different Ayurvedic cooking techniques

- to customize meals for the needs of different doshas, or

body-mind types, in your family

Then, enjoy sampling everything in our feast afterward!

You'll get a packet that includes all the recipes to take home, too.

Sharmila is a fantastic cook, Ayurvedic practitioner, and a

wonderful teacher, and my family can't wait to have another

class with her! More about Sharmila is at her website:

We have the option of hiring childcare for a few of you who

would like to have it. We can take up to 4 children, depending

on ages, probably $15 each child for 3 hours of babysitting.

Let me know if you're interested. Infants that are happy in

a car seat, sling, or being held by Mommy for the class are also

welcome to come.

To reserve your space, please email me at

connie (AT) awakeningself (DOT) com Looking forward to sharing Ayurveda with

you!

Blessings,

Connie
