Namaste!

My daughters and I went out shopping for school supplies this weekend and they both bought the same backpacks, of course my older daughter hates that her little sister wanted the same backpack as well (although different color), so I told them they could put key chains and such on there backpacks to make them special and individual. They jumped at the idea, so I took them to Claire's Boutique in Mid Rivers mall and my older daughter finds a green Pu Tai Buddha right away and claims it as her own! Funny as I was watching "Little Buddha" that morning on TV before we left to shop. I also went to the book store to look for the children's book of The Little Buddha to read to them at night. Coincidence that we found a Buddha in a jewelry store hours latter.....?? (scratches head) I think not! Weird! At any rate my younger daughter was torn because they only had ONE and my younger daughter was PLEADING with Aliyah to trade with her for something...ANYTHING else so she could

have it. I promised my younger daughter I would find her one on the Internet when we arrived home. All through the mall she kept asking about the Buddha and when could we go home to start looking, she was SO ADAMANT about finding one. As I got home I started surfing the net for Buddha, I then found a Ganesha key chain and knew she has a strong connection with Ganesha so I pointed it out to her, she then wanted ONLY a Ganesha, no fault but my own! I have only found this one Ganesha that she likes because it looks 'nice' to her. It is VERY limited on the internet with Ganesha key chain's that are not made of wood. The one I am referring to is on the web site www.anywheremarkets.com, under 'gummi ware' and 'spiritual' so you can get an idea what she is looking at. This place is a whole sale and I am not entirely sure how they operate. Does any one know of any web sites with a Ganesha key chain of this nature or how I can purchase one? My daughters innocent heart is calling.

Thank you!

Dear Robbin,

This brings me back to a story that my father likes to

tell me about the time I lost my favorite kitty

stuffed animal during a road trip when I was three

years old. I could not be consoled until he found

another one of these fluffy kitty's....

We went to several department stores, but they were

all out....and on the way back to the car, I pointed

out..daddy, daddy there is my(the name of my stuffed

animal in baby talk)and low and behold, it was in the

window display of the department store, and who knows

what my father had to do to convince the management in

this store to sell us this stuffed animal. (what we

will do for love)

Your story is so sweet and gives me a whole new way to

appreciate the sacrifices my parents made for me.

I would suggest contacting the people on this website.

They may be willing to sell you the key chain or maybe

point out to you where you could purchase one.

Thanks for your story.

Hi Robin!

Om Namah Shivaya!

I found a beautiful Ganesh keychain in an ebay store where I get some of the supplies for my chocolate molds. This keychain has the form of Ganesh sitting upon an Om sign, and it also has some really sweet tiny tinkling bells in the chain itself. Just log onto ebay, and search for the all india store. The owner is really wonderful to work with, and if you don't see what you want in his display, just e-mail him with your request..he's really good about getting what you need! I have gotten a number of things for my son thru this store.

Good Luck!

In Her Love and Service Always,

Sanatani
