Guest guest
Dear Surya, My experience with Babaji is direct experience. He is still very much available to anyone who is open to Him. The material presented on babaji.net, and babajispeaks.com is from a devotee who spent time with Him in at the Haidakhan ashram, which seems like it is truly a magical place. Babaji has always come to the hearts of his devotees sometimes in the physical and sometimes in dreams. Some of these stories are within the books offered from the online ashram at babaji.net and some of these stories have been posted to babajispeaks.com I was just with another teacher of mine last week, who comes to the Bay Area each year. Yogiraj Gurunath Siddhanath, who spoke a bit about him. Gurunath connects with another Shiva Avatar, Goraknath, but confirmed Haidakhan Babaji was also a Shiva Avatar and had visited him several times while Gurunath was spending time in the Himalayas. There were two very important men around Babaji throughout his stay here on Earth. They too, were great souls in their own right. One, was Vishnu Dutt Mishra (Shastriji), who worked with Mahendra Baba to prepare the way for Babaji to come forth once again. The other man, Muniraj, presides over important activities at Haidkhan Ashram to this day. Actually, there are two wonderful books written by devotees who were there during Babaji's last breath. I Am Harmony by Radhe Shayam Fire of Transformation by Gaura Devi, his attendant and one of his closest disciples There is some discussion in these books about some of the controversy around this incarnation of Lord Shiva. But most of what I have come into contact with has been incredibly inspiring and uplifting. Please check out one of these books, and one of the Video's (Have Guru Darshan). I have no interest in quarreling with you, but this dialog is being viewed by hundreds of eyes, and hearts. My experience was very different than yours. Did you hear of H. Babaji after his death? Or where you aware of Him while in the body, and did you write to Him and ask him if you could come to Haidakhan to visit Him in person? My feeling is that there is an emotional threat to the possibility of H. Babaji being who it was that He said he was.... Much of his discussion to devotees through www.babajispeaks.com was fielding questions about who it was that He was! He will be the first to tell you that "I AM NOTHING AND NO ONE", and to just follow the teachings of Truth, Simplicity and Love. And his message of "I AM YOU", or "I AM Always With You, just call my name and I am THERE in Your Heart. Om Namah Shivaya S

Guest guest
Perhaps time to put a kibosh on this thread, since it's unrelated to Amma, and there's gotta be a Herakhan Babaji listerv or out there. FWIW, when anyone mentions "Babaji", I think of Baba Hari Dass, who hasn't spoken in more than 50 years. http://www.mountmadonna.org/yoga/babaji.html Keval
Guest guest
Dear Stacee, I have no interest in getting into a debate with you. Time is better spent in other ways. If you found something that works for you, whether that be belief, guru, saint, inspiration, etc., then just follow that. All I can tell you is what you say does not work for me. I met the other person you mention and he certainly did not do it for me. There are many people claiming so many things these days. Go to a Kumbh Mela and you will be truly amazed at how many claim to be the incarnation of the Babaji, or his "true" disciple, etc. I am not saying that I don't believe that the Babaji you mention was not a great Mahatma, because I do. Just for reference, I have met and spoke with Leonard Orr, Sondra Ray, and many others as well as people like Yogi Ramiah and Marshall Govindam. None of it works for me. But who is Babaji in reality anyway? What is the essence of any Babaji? Where does all real Truth come from anyway? Shiva of course. The one reality. Sometimes expressed just as properly as Divine Mother. Also sometimes just expressed as Pure Love. Words only point at Her/Him and totally fail to describe Anything True. Why get caught up in all that anyway? It doesn't get one anywhere. Guest guest
Another very sweet Babaji, that I have had the pleasure of sitting with on quite a few occasions. He also feels connected with the Babaji and feels as many that the old Herakhan Baba was Lahiri Mahasaya's Guru. But not all agree. He published a nice book on the subject, which included some info on Sombari Babaji and a few other Siddhas as well. I really appreciated this as it helped me find some nice places to visit near Almora and elsewhere.
