Guest guest
Namah Shivaya: Was walking back to my office from lunch today and an idea popped into the mind. Let us ask Amma (HERSELF)to write a message to Her Children here at the Satsang. This E-Satsang would be blessed for all eternity. True? Anyone want to bounce this idea around? Guest guest
Om Namah Shivaya! Georgeson's idea is sweet. We can definitely ask Amma to write message. Afterall, She is sending messages of unconditional love to all of us during every moment. Also She definitely fulfils the innocent wishes of Her devotees. As far the procedure, Amma loves simplicity and so simple email is enough. Tony, In Amma's World, the process is 'Ask and it is given. Seek you shall find. Knock and the door is opened.' Cheers, Mahadevan Venkitaraman Ammachi, Tony <ammastony wrote: > > I wonder if Amma would even consider it. Email is so informal . Guest guest
Namah Shivaya Tony, I truly believe Amma will consider it if we are able to get the message to her. Take a look at this blog entry: http://ammasown.blogspot.com/2006/07/my-story-9-hard-times.html Quote: "The She gently told me, "Molkku vishamam varumbol Lakshmide peril Ammaykku email ayachal mathi"( When my daughter feels very sad, just send Amma an email in Lakshmi's name") This was ahuge consolation..." See there is a way to get to Amma via email, all we need to do is find it. -Gopinath --- Tony <ammastony > wrote: > I wonder if Amma would even consider it. Email is so > informal . Guest guest
Hi, I read the beautiful letter on da link. (yes da whole thing) I wrote a long letter back to you but I hit the wrong button and it was erased, sorry. To Summarize what I said: Don't be longing for Ammas presents, Remember what she stands for and act accordingly.....And...........remember how you felt while she was hugging you. and pass that on. I believe that Amma would like that better. Ammastony Gopinath <pgopi > wrote: Namah Shivaya Tony, I truly believe Amma will consider it if we are able to get the message to her. Guest guest
Hi, Tony. My $0.02 on this is... Everyone's relationship with Amma is different...and, in fact, our own relationship with her tends to change over time (personally, I relate to her much, much differently now than I did years ago). Something beautiful and astounding about Amma is that she knows our hearts and knows what each of us needs, at any given time. Sometimes, what we need is Amma's presents/presence in the form of her granting some inner heart-longing and sometimes we find her presents/presents in being an intrument of her grace with others. Swamiji says that the longer he's been with Amma, the less and less he understands about her, the more and more her ways are a mystery. Why try to presume what she'd like better? (And also, is it really an either/or choice?) Sincerely, Iswari Ammachi, Tony <ammastony wrote: > > Hi, > > I read the beautiful letter on da link. Guest guest
Om Amriteswarye Namah: Dear Children: Have avidly read the responses on whether we should ask Amma to post on this Board. On further reflection two notions have arisen in my maya- laden mind.. 1) This board often displays dysfunctionality. Local Bay Area Satsangs (the non digital variety) can be equally cranky (on occasion). If Amma posts here it may act as a reminder that these interactions are blessed by You know who (making this a Holy place thereafter). Someone (possibly myself) will hesitate to flame someone here knowing that Amma has entered our virtual "room", at a point in time (as it were) Secondarily, If we come to some consensus, perhaps we should be somewhat specific. Can we ask (0ur) Mother to communicate instruction(s) on how to behave in an internet Satsang. This board allows an international linkage of hearts. We are even read at Amritapuri! Amma called us a Satsang. It is not unusual for Amma to send greetings or instructions to land-based Satsangs. Can appreciate contrary views as well on this possible adventure. It is true thatAmma knows our thoughts. Eric made an excellent point that we are Her emissaries as we post. To summarize let's get specific. What INSTRUCTION would prove beneficial here? Could that not benefit Amma's mission in this global forum? Namah Shivaya, Chitanand (GeorgeSon) P.S. To Bea Flexible: I was a Snack Shop and Dinner Server Sevite at San Ramon Ammachi, Omenka Supriti Nnadi <oomenka wrote: > > just DO IT! > > Om Namashivaya - In Amma's service, > > Supriti Omenka Nnadi > >
Guest guest
Namah Shivayah, I couldn't help but notice the irony between the statement Chitanand wrote below, and the flaming posts that followed almost immediately after. So now I am just laughing in bliss at the sense of humor our Ma has! Jai Kali Ma! Ananthasree PS. I think the whole e-mail idea is a great one. Of course, she knows about it already, but what do you need to do to petition her in the physical realm and make it manifest? > 1) This board often displays dysfunctionality. Guest guest
Om Namah Sivaya My dearest Brothers and Sisters , It's a great idea of inviting Amma to the Satsang. I would like share one of my experiences while I was in Vadakara , a town in Calicut District. The devotees at vadakara went to Vallikav to invite Amma to our town. At first she didn't even give a glance to the invitation, and later when we went again she responded, " Children only if Every one in vadakara is in true harmony Amma will come to vadakara ". Hearing this we were very sad and by these words of Amma each and everyone's heart started chanting Amma Please visit our town ". And then Amma responded to our prayers, she came to bless our city. When Amma gave her green signal, Jayasankar swami who was incharge, called up a meeting and duties were assigned each and every one. Work for the stage was started at the Muncipal ground. While the work was going on just the day before Amma's arrival there was huge rain and lighting. We couldn't do anything at that time. We all doubtful that the Program could be conducted from there. There comes again anothe Rain, but this time it was in the form of Amma's Blessings. The entire ground was dried by , I could say the heavenly Sun, by Amma's instruction. The next day when Amma came , It was such a beutiful day , a very good crowd , eagerly stretching their ears to each and every word Amma uttered. We the volunteers went for the darshan at the end. When i went for darshan , Amma asked me to sit nearby her to handover the Vibhuthi. I was really overjoyed, blessed, I dont know what to say about what i felt( Oh Amma, the dictionaries are never complete when they doesn't have the words for expressinng our love towards you.) After completing the darshan late Night . Amma then moved on to Bless the next city Telicherry. Well my dear brothers and sisters, this was just one of my experiences with Amma's Arms of Love. So I believe that if we all pray together for inviting Amma to our group its also possible. I believe Amma wont discard our prayer if its completly dedicated. Pranams at the Lotus feet of Amma Amma's Son Rithesh Groups are talking. We´re listening. Check out the handy changes to .
