Guest guest
Hello again. By the way, is it really a must that I must wear the rudrakshas on a Monday? Also, is it true that I cannot wear it during 'that time of the month' for women. Thanks Ana
Guest guest
There are NO absolute rules. Certain scriptures say certain things. Certain Gurus/Saints/Pundits/Merchants say certain things. Often there is contradiction, sometimes even within one scripture. The real knowledge is still in the living ongoing traditions, that are mostly passed down orally from guru to disciple. Monday is Shiva's day but other days can be argued to be His as well. It depends on your point of view. Wear everyday if you can. Some say to remove during that time of the month, as well as when excreting and sleeping. The logic is that the energy during those times is moving downwards as opposed to upwards. But others disagree, especially on the subject of menstruation. Some say it is the most pure time. So sit with it yourself and decide. Or experiment and see how you feel. I can tell you that the female disciples of my Guru, Mata Amritanandamayi, don't remove their rudrakshas during menstruation time. Jai Maa!
