Guest guest
Hi, First, thank you for your patience. I will be receiving my rudrakshas tomorrow witht the mukhis you recommended plus the 13. Now I understand why it is supposed to be worn on the neck. Apparently, since it is very holy and personal. Once you wear it, it is not meant to be seen by others. I am more comfortable now. When I receive the stringed mukhis, though you mentioned I can use my own religion's prayer, what is the mantra I need to say when I wear it? When do I do these? Thanks again. PS: I spoke to Suresh of Rudra Nepal for the Saligram and he recommended a very good one. I am just saving up for it. Ana
Guest guest
Dear Ana, I never recommended any particular rudrakshas to you. I guess you are confusing me with someone else. I take it you joined one or more of the other rudraksha groups out there. You don't need to repeat any particular mantra to wear any particular rudraksha. Some state otherwise though. Why buy a Saligram? They are freely obtainable. What is your reason for owning one? Though they are all nice if you want to buy one. Dont' get caught up in the merchant's play though. In other words, don't buy into the hype. Jai Maa! Surya - ana_raguin Sunday, August 06, 2006 11:27 AM mantra for the 7,8,10,13,14 mukhis Hi, First, thank you for your patience. Guest guest
Sorry, I got confused. I am not part of any other forums except this. Then, who was it? I am 100% sure it was from this forum though. Anyway, I am sure he will probably read this post and let me know who he is. He was extremely helpful. And most of my questions were answered via messenger when I was chatting with him. Yeah, I am getting caught up with this marketing ploy. I should really watch out. Thanks for the advice. Guest guest
Do you have another ID? I checked all your posts and I never see you asking me a question like this or me giving you this type of answer. Maybe it was someone you privately chatted with. Why would someone decide to chat with you via Y Messenger instead of posting for the whole forum? Hmmmm... Sounds like someone is acting out of commercial interest here in secret. That is not allowed here. This is not a market place. There are enough other forums for that. I recommended a rosary, called a mala in Sanskrit, since you had a Catholic slant and appeared to be a bit uncomfortable. Well I hope you didn't have to pay an astronomical amount and get good quality rudraksha from whoever you bought them from. Guest guest
That's probably the reason why all my other posts to you were not understandable. The person I was chatting to was actually very nice and did not recommend any sites for me to purchase my rudrakshas until I asked for it. In fact, this person even saved me a lot of money by telling me that the higher mukhis are not really in the scriptures, and to replace the 16 and 17 mukhis i was about to get with a 14 instead. I think he saw my post and my ID, and I was online, so he chatted with me about it. I am very thankful to him and to you for your guidance. By the way, I do not have any other IDs. Guest guest
And where did you purchase the rudraksha from? - Ana Raguin Sunday, August 06, 2006 2:22 PM Re: mantra for the 7,8,10,13,14 mukhis That's probably the reason why all my other posts to you were not understandable. Guest guest
I don't know. That's why I thought it was you.Because with my very first post on this forum, you were the only one who responded. So, when he pm me on messenger regarding my question on your forum as his introduction, that's when I thought it was you. He said that he gets his rudrakshas in Rudra Nepal when I asked him. But I ended up getting mine from Rudra Centre because Rudra Centre can string together the rudrakshas I am getting. I did not see it on Rudra Nepal's site if they could string it together or not. Now you can scan emails quickly with a reading pane. Get the new Mail.
Guest guest
I think and everybody knows who this person is. his recommendation is usually 14mukhi as he does not have any other mukhis in his pocket. simone Mahamuni Das <mahamuni (AT) cox (DOT) net> wrote: And where did you purchase the rudraksha from? - Ana Raguin Sunday, August 06, 2006 2:22 PM Re: mantra for the 7,8,10,13,14 mukhis That's probably the reason why all my other posts to you were not understandable. Guest guest
Ana, You must know the name of the person who chatted with you. The ID would have shown up on the screen. Rudra Centre gets their rudrakshas from the same place. Anyone could string them together. Regarding Indra Mala, there is no scriptural reference to it at all and no sadhus ever mentioned it to me when we spoke about rudraksha. It is a merchant marketing thing, though of course all the rudrakshas are powerful. On that subject, I wouldn't expect the type of dramatic change you are speaking of. Usually it is subtle, though maybe some people have instantaneous experiences. As far as placing your hopes of glory in higher than 14 face beads, especially in a 21 face...well I wouldn't. Who can afford such things? Only wealthy people anyway, whose greed wants them to acquire even more wealth. Why? For what use? Hardly to feed the poor and needy. You don't see saints trying to acquire such things. Follow their example. Also the naga babas I have spent time with have told me that all the sadhus they know only count faces on Gauri Shankar beads. They don't even use the others, except when given as gifts, etc. They prize the 11 face GS beads above all else. I have to run. BOM MAHADEV!
