Guest guest
Richard sir, namaste. After a long time, i am posting a mail to you. I have this feeling about cowries sea shells. In Mumbai, we have them in colours yellowish, whitish and one type is greycoloured. The white ones are used as a tool against evil spells but the yellowish and the greyish ones are used as money enhancers in cash box etc. I have a feeling that the greyish cowrie has something to do with ketu..Can you throw some light on these cowries? I have these cowries and I have used the whitish ones but want to know more about the yellow and the greyish ones.... best wishes and warm regards Aadi ---Dear Aadi, GREAT!!! Another sacred object we forgot is cowrie shells. They must represent Lakshmi because they have always been used as actual money for thousands of years. But I imagine the are lucky to have for artha. And I would think Lakshmi, not Ketu, would rule all cowrie shells. I hope other members have more info on this... Best, R-
Guest guest
Dear Richardsir, yes, you are right that the cowries are known for Lakshmi. At least, we call them Lakshmi Cowries. In my tradition, Shakt Bhaktas wear a mala of these, But these are whitish and yellowish ones. Sometime ago, I got hold of these greycoloured cowries. These are said to be rare and are also called Lakshmi cowries but I do not know why I feel the grey ones may have something to do with ketu or maybe rahu. I have no idea about this. I hope this is not true so that everybody can use them. warm regards aadi sacred-objects, "aadi291" <aadi291 wrote: > > Richard sir, namaste. After a long time, i am posting a mail to you.
